Richmond had a tough first season in D3 after losing the D4 GF... Half their list retired. Hopefully EP don't have a similar bunch of retiree's, but I suspect the Viola boys might have had enough?
It was a great year for Kew, everything seemed to come together to set up a famous victory. 2s should have lost but really, after such a good season they deserved a bit of luck. Well done to Elsternwick, fantastic season. Hope they can pick up some kids for next season as they are a great, old club. Well done all, all the best for next season!
Kinsella deserved the medal as he was outstanding on the forward flank but as was mentioned before, there were plenty of good players. Brazzale and Spencer the two others who immediately come to mind.
What happened to the reserves? Was depth an issue due to having the three GF's on the one day?
Well Liam Kinsella backed up his Grand Final BOG by coming 2nd in the Kew U18's Best & Fairest (played 6 games) and 2nd in the Seniors Best & Fairest having played only 10 games!! Unbelievable effort and the Bears will be happy to know he's playing again next year![]()
Hey fellas, any chance a few of you could let me know your team's best and fairest in the ones??
Barney looks slightly startled at the prospect.![]()
