I just checked the clearance list and i noticed two dual premiership players leaving latrobe i think one was the coach of the premiership sides if thats true then ouch thats gota hurt!

I am not sure if Sheldrick played but it is still a big loss . I am sure he would have been a big infulance on the new crop of young uni boys coming to the club

Good to see a few of last years seniors turn up at training last night, for the first time... Nab cup roles around and people start getting the itch!

Had a praccy match against Dandenong last night, good hit out! We will be more than competitive! So take your ladders you so called experts and shove them right up your clackers! Big Waz and Cosmo, no need to fear, we have the numbers and will do well this year!

Means little when we have no idea what club you represent...

My step brother recently moved next to K Bartlett. Has seen a few of RC sessions and says they look like a D1 club rather than D3 based on there skills and numbers. Watch out for centrals in 2013

Sorry thought you would have gathered that I am from South!

You're right mate, I guessed that but wasn't 100% sure.

He obviously hasn't seen any of my kicks!

Oh and where does your step brother live? The soccer pitches? ;)

Dandenong!!! Hahahahahaha....
You do realise Div 3 of Southern is probably the worst standard of football in metro Melbourne.

How many numbers do you need to look like a D1 team??
So, if Richmond Central got 150 to training it would make them look like an A Grade side??

Well at this time of year, at most D3 clubs, players are still coming and going. From what I've heard Richmond have had very strong and consistent numbers (which is what you'd expect from a higher graded club).

And no justafan 150 is just silly! A grade clubs dont have that many training, thats simply too many!

Yes Richo, I was being silly!!
But, I have heard the same good things out of the Snakes. I take my hat off to them as they are situated in the middle of nowhere and the fact they managed to get an U/19 side up from scratch is testamount to good management at the top.

Let's not get too carried away! We have a dedicated Clubbies side and u18's both training with the seniors, so numbers are exaggerated.

On any other year I would have probably agreed with you, but with the influx of scores of players to Lyndale, Doveton & Sandown not to mention walk up starts Carrum-Patterson Lakes, I think you'd find the SFL Div 3 is on a par now with VAFA D3....

You would think that Fish old mate! Carrum/Patterson going to be a powerhouse in their inaugural season?

Thats good to hear Fish as the game I saw last year between Dandenong and Ashwood reminded me of a Club XVIII game.

Didn't quite get all the Div 1 Chelsea Heights players they were chasing (cancelled their clearances, got more $$$$ I assume) but yeah seems every man & his dog in that peninsula hub with a couple years left is heading down there.

It should be a cracker of a practice match this week with Aquinas taking on Kew. Both side recruited well. Can anyone tell us where the game is being played and who are the new player to watch from both sides. I notice all Aquinas recruits are from the EFL. Have Aquinas finally worked out how to entice players back.

Sth will be fine this year around 40 on the track a night last few weeks, 10+ new recruits with around 55-60 confirmed on the list now. 3/4 of the seniors from last year committed again with some handy new signings will be stronger than you think this year boys.. we are happy to take the underdog tag thats being thrown around here by all the knowledgeable ppl that have come down to our training sessions to actually see whats going on........

Will be a great game to watch. Not great conditions for footy but I think these two sides will both be top 4. Watch out for the new Wingman for Kew and a couple of new onballers. They are without there main ruckman and a bunch of others this week but will be still a strong side on paper. Aquinas have a couple of new forwards from the EFL, a couple of smalls who will be dominant in 2013.
