With quality people in the U19's willing to play three games on a Saturday- they'll bounce back.
Agreed its good signs, however (and not having a dig here) they might need a bit more or they could be staring down the barrel of Div 4 next year.

Might save the travel to Ringwood.Agreed its good signs, however (and not having a dig here) they might need a bit more or they could be staring down the barrel of Div 4 next year.
Incredible that a club has that many Irish that the men in green think they are Irish as well.South Melb to beat Albert Park
Canterbury to beat Aquinas
La Trobe to beat Elsternwick
UHS-VU to beat Parkside
Gryphons to beat Powerhouse
Hawks to beat Swinburne

Intersting results for the top 2 sides. Powerhouse get within 7 points of Glen Eira, Swinburne led at 3/4 time to lose by 1 point to Hawthorn. Any details?

Some interesting news from HQ on Div 2,3 & 4 relegation to even up the competition. Bottom 3 sides from Div 3 will be relegated.
Email sent out today.
Good Afternoon to all Division 2, 3 and 4 Club Secretaries,
This email is to inform all senior clubs in Division 2, 3 and 4 of the promotion and relegation that will occur at the conclusion of the 2016 Season.
After an extensive process, the VAFA Board and Football Operations team have determined the following structure to apply which will ensure all 2017 VAFA Competitions contain 10 teams where an equal home and away fixture is achieved.
Division 2:
- 2 Teams Promoted to Division 1 (Premiers and Runner Up)
- 1 Team Relegated to Division 3 (Last Placed on the Home and Away Ladder)
Division 3:
- 2 Teams Promoted to Division 2 (Premiers and Runner Up)
- 3 Teams Relegated to Division 4 (Bottom 3 Teams on the Home and Away Ladder)
Division 4:
- 2 Teams Promoted to Division 3 (Premiers and Runner Up)"
Doesn't that heat up the relegation battle! Our bottom 3 looks set with Aquinas, Elsternwick and Parkside.
FWIW I'd be p&ssed off if my club finished 10th and were relegated in a comp where everyone didn't play each other twice.
I totally agree. Very stiff for who ever finishes 10th. Really ruins what would have been a great three way battle to stay up in Div 3.Couldn't agree more FWIW. Can you imagine if they tried to do that in A, B or C?? Imagine trying to tell St Kevins that they would be relegated from A this year finishing 8th.
What a joke.
FWIW just had a quick look at Aquinas draw, blimey they would be fuming. Only play bottom side and the 2 sides they could catch once and the top 3 sides twice.I totally agree. Very stiff for who ever finishes 10th. Really ruins what would have been a great three way battle to stay up in Div 3.
