South Melb to beat Albert Park
Canterbury to beat Aquinas
La Trobe to beat Elsternwick
UHS-VU to beat Parkside
Gryphons to beat Powerhouse
Hawks to beat Swinburne

Big game for Parkside this week. Reckon they might knock off UHS for 3 in a row and a move out of the bottom 2!!

Incredible that a club has that many Irish that the men in green think they are Irish as well.

Had to laugh. Obviously PH were short of players. Before the game an Irish lad came up to us and asked if this is where PH played. When told yes he went into the PH rooms and got changed. Should change their name to Power House backpackers, to be sure to be sure.

Intersting results for the top 2 sides. Powerhouse get within 7 points of Glen Eira, Swinburne led at 3/4 time to lose by 1 point to Hawthorn. Any details?

GE were pushed to the limit by a relentless PH. Great effort. Hopefully GE will get some of their players back from injury soon. Approx 7 seniors still missing but no excuse . PH effort terrific and will surprise a few teams.

Similar story at Swinny. They were fantastic in both games and pushed the seniors hard all day and just missed out. We had about 15 out across both teams (who doesn't this time of year) and were lucky to get the win in the ones and were smashed in the ressies by a better team.

They can. I rate them as highly as Monash and Hawthorn.

Be interesting to see how they go as they have not played finals since their 2010 premiership and I don't think any players would be still playing from that side and it must have been a pretty good side as they went back to back if my memory serves me right

Doesn't that heat up the relegation battle! Our bottom 3 looks set with Aquinas, Elsternwick and Parkside.

FWIW I'd be p&ssed off if my club finished 10th and were relegated in a comp where everyone didn't play each other twice.

Couldn't agree more FWIW. Can you imagine if they tried to do that in A, B or C?? Imagine trying to tell St Kevins that they would be relegated from A this year finishing 8th.
What a joke.

I totally agree. Very stiff for who ever finishes 10th. Really ruins what would have been a great three way battle to stay up in Div 3.

Three clubs facing the chop from VAFA Division 3 with Parkside, Elsternwick and Aquinas under pressure

This is a disgrace, why on earth does the comp change the rules during the year. Amateurs sure progressing well with this decision.
