Heading there on Saturday, I did see Canterbury have triple headers planned for the majority of the season. If the ground is cooked already, just wait till it rains.

Went and watched the Citz take on Canterbury on the weekend.
Very even game with the Cobra's having a 5 goal blitz in the last 5 mins of the 3rd and that was the game.
Was really impressed with the quality of the game with both teams moving the ball really well. The difference was Canterbury's ability to take contested marks by their big forwards (#2 and #72) and convert late in the 3rd.
For my Citzs, not a bad effort with about 5-6 players to come in. No excuse though, Canterbury too good when it counted on the day.
I did notice Canterbury were without their captain and coach so plenty of upside for them as well.

Would be nice if we could get a couple of other match summaries and get some conversations going - other than tips.

Headed down to watch the cobs. Talk was they had half a dozen+ out. Wicks were ok, thought the score didn’t do the game justice.
 
The Citz played Powerhouse at Rathmines in front of a decent crowd for D3 footy. The Citz were all over the House and stretched the lead to around 10 goals midway through the 3rd Qtr.
But, like the game at Canterbury, they complete stopped and allowed PH to score 8 or 9 unanswered goals.
They rallied in the end and got the lead back out to 26pts with PH kicking a goal after the siren.
The Citz best is very, very good but they’re worst is very, very bad. I saw both yesterday. But, a wins a win!!

A very good win then, The house will certainly be vying for a double chance come seasons end.

One benefit of having less teams in the comp is that we get to see 3 match up's against the top sides. Honestly gives each side a genuine understanding of where they are at.
