Also read on another page that the Suns are already looking at WRFL.
Any truth in it Over the Post. Your down there. Good chance to shut a rumour down. Was on WRFL div 2 page.

Haven't heard that particular rumour gain any traction. Certainly the juniors are staying in WRFL until U16 then migrating into the VAFA U19 side.

Tread carefully........

Pfft!

Are we VAFA bound this year Postie? Or has age got the better of you resulting in 'flapping' being a bygone activity?;)

No, just other conflicting interests. It was easy when the boys played footy on Sunday, now No1 Son is playing soccer on Saturdays and he doesn't have a licence yet, so I've been the club taxi. Been running as assistant ref sometimes, to remind me how unfit I am and to boost my immunity against crowd abuse.

First time poster, long time reader. Wouldn't mind seeing some up to date ladder prediction? Also haven't heard anything about Canterbury or the Dragons… Any one have any info on the 2 clubs?? Thanks

Any Practice matches scheduled in that people can post wouldn't mind watching a game to see what this competition is like.

Hey LV, the Dragons are going ok. Like any other club, we've got some fresh blood (including a new snr coach), but have also unfortunately lost a few key elder statesmen. We're getting consistent numbers on the track, but I'm sure it'll pick up as the season draws closer. All the best to everyone else this year.

Is JP finally retiring?

Mate, I hope he'll continue to pull on the boots! Work commitments doesn't allow him to continue on with the presidency but I trust he'll still be kicking around on match-day.

Is Tremmy still with you guys? Gun.

I hope he keeps playing too. Only bloke on the field slower than me!
Yeah Tremewen is going around with us again.

Ins & Outs as at 28/2

Ins Outs
Box Hill North 2 3
Canterbury 17 0
Chadstone 9 5
Dragons 4 6
Hawthorn 13 2
Manningham 6 1
Nth Brunswick 0 3
Point Cook 1 9
West Brunswick 12 5
Westbourne Grammer 14 0
Wyndham Suns 3 3

So the winners at the moment seem to be Hawthorn & West Brunswick from last years clubs. Chadstone improving in their ability to attact clubs (hopefully they haven't lost anyone that could play).

Notaro clearly the big loss from NB, a bit worried they might be in struggle town if they've not attracted some players.

Anyway - always interesting to follow the ins & outs at this time of year. (And yes - I'm bored at work..)

The Wyndham Suns couldn't organise a piss up in a pub. They promised the world and delivered upon nothing. Couple of the brass have made murmurings about WRFL but they have confirmed they wont be fielding a seniors or reserves in the Ammo's and the 10 blokes that have been training (supposedly 19's players) are also looking elsewhere now. Suns never ever looked like rising.

Where did that rumour come from or are you just making it up as you go along?

Nice troll, failed dismally. Next?

So really a waste of everyone's time this Suns thing. Westbourne remain then and the fixture moves forward without a bye which is great.

The ins and outs at each club is an interesting one. But you never know what quality they are. If they were recruited or reserves players battling for games elsewhere etc.

Over The Post, can you tell us what went wrong?
Good that there is no bye but a bit annoying that the functions for the year are all planned around the fixture. We have paid a $2000 deposit for our Gala Ball. Hope we don't end up playing out at Point Cook or Westbourne that day!
