D4 Division 4 - 2014

A lot of water had to go under the bridge and a lot was unnown. But I hope it clears it up for all of you outside observers. Case closed?


Can't argue with that. Although there was never really a strong link anyway, which is probably a fault of ours and the ex and current committees. but as a club we are as united now as we have been for a long time and looking forward to 2014. Anything else you want to be critical of? What's done is done, each party has had to deal with their issues (Wyndham, Westbourne and the school). It's time to move on and start to focus on and play some footy.

Unfortunate situation. As you say, what's done is done.

I can't cop the "wyndham suns holding us back" crap.

Their club has been kicked off the grounds and then been r*ped and pillaged by a new club.

Must be a ripping school. You blokes must of had the time of your lives there

Well you don't have to cop it, as it doesn't concern you. The seniors and the U19's had the option to stay, it was just unfortunate that the school couldn't keep the juniors on their grounds. Not having a go at them for moving somewhere else, but trying to prevent transfers and making threats in regards to preventing us from playing if they can't get a side up and running - poor form.

It's a great school and I think you'll find most of us thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Anything else champ?

r*ped? Nobody in the senior group wanted to leave the schools ground, so in our eyes it's not even a new club and we are just remaining where we always played footy, not some random ground in Wyndham that his no history.

But anyway this is going around in circles and you're obviously on the Wyndham side of the argument and that is fine. Let's move on and let the other teams in this comp focus on and discuss the footy.

Ultimately thats what it comes down to. We all just wanna play footy with our mates, its D4 Vafa... Whether that is as a junior at Wydnham or as a senior at Westbourne, it will be nice once all of the 'clearances' are done so both parties can move on and worry about their own business, not their past. Which hopefully will be done ASAP.

Not on anyside. You don't need to scroll back far to see I was asking OTP from the suns the same questions.

Its frustrating for every other club that had planned social events around the fixture that has now changed a few weeks before the season. We had a double bye, blokes booked holidays etc.

that's ok, we readjust and move forward.

You can spin the situation anyway you want. It should be a ripping year. You are odds on favorites to catapult up the divisions. So for that hats off. That takes a lot of work and effort.

But don't be surprised if most clubs are frustrated with the current situation.

I am calling a total halt to the Grammarians/Suns discussion. It's run its course, and totally derailed the D4 thread. I'm closing this thread and creating a new one for D4 2014 discussion. I will not post again on the subject (although I had plenty to say in the post I deleted above), any others will be summarily deleted.
