Well they got a second win after sacking their coach who gave them their first win for a while. They won't know themselves down there having two wins on the board in one season. Interesting what transpires next season with the three teams.

Is their 3rd win for the season, their 1st since they sacked their coach.

Let’s hope Nuna and Croydon North have a big summer and manage to recruit. Can’t have another season of hidings against these two surely

After the first half of the season would we have expected the result to be anything else?
Kilsyth have shown lot of improvement since they played Nunawading.
Nunawading haven't shown much improvement since then.
Should Nunawading have sacked their coach after the Kilsyth game, that's the real question?

No problem with salary cap. They are originally East Burwood boys. Rested!
Hard to send them back to Surrey, considering they never played there.

Just having a laugh Cliff.

Strange one, but Matt shows up in Surrey's junior club's career record list of players. That would usually indicate he played with us, but maybe just a glitch

You will probably hear a bit more from us after today.
Mariani brothers still being rested.

When we lose we say nothing, when we win we say less. Go Rams.

Just make sure all hands are on hand next Saturday and Sunday at East Burwood. The Mitcham tiger army are heading your way.lol Will actually work out well for the East Burwood people with their 1's and 2's with the week off and the chance to help with off field duties and their U19's playing Mitcham at East Burwood.

Plenty will be at the U17s GF today. Hopefully the U19’s can make the GF as well.

A few had plenty to say early on. Obviously been gagged by someone. But comprehensively beat Coldy yesterday. I must say i was hoping Surrey Park would do a number on Fairpark today but not to be.

I must say I thought that the EFL would at least make the effort to have a record for the finals series. Just about everyone who attended a final over the weekend would have paid for one and made good use of it. You'd think that over a finals series they could make a nice profit.
I can see an opening for an Arthur Daley type entrepreneur, interested in a "nice little earner".

They gave out a record at the Junior finals go figure

How much did they charge to get in.In the past it was $13,grand final $15.I would presume there will be a record for the senior grand finals similar to the juniors.

Previous seasons you received the record as part admission fee for finals -
No record but still getting charged the $15 admission - league making an extra profit here

been gagged? lol You’ve been doing all the talking. I watched the game and thought SP had them and then all of a sudden FP won. Be a cracker of a game next week and I believe Coldstream will bounce back. It will be a East Burwood v Coldstream GF and the reason why is, EFL Legend Colin Tainton played for both clubs and as he passed away earlier this year I find this a very fitting finale.

$15 and no record, not even a photocopied sheet with the sides listed. I hope the extra $2 is going to the clubs.

Nice setup at Glen Waverley. Plenty of cover, grandstand and good facilities but ground surface a bit rough, hamburgers like boot leather and no urinals in the men's toilet (must be a different sort of bloke in Glen Waverley).
Anyway, anyone at East Burwood next week will get a terrific hamburger, plenty of urinals and a great ground surface.
Not to sure about Scoresby for finals. I still remember the showers there and the lake on the far side of the ground covered entirely by floating pine needles.

Thanks for the heads up Cliff. Sth are at waverley on Sunday. . do they have the cricket wicket on that ground?? Is that why its a bit rough?? Its a long drive for us to get out there but hope we can click and get it together to beat Rowville. Been an up and down season for Sth this year

Hi Richie, They do have a large turf cricket pitch area in the middle. A few years ago it was a District Cricket Ground. But Richmond who play there now use the ground on the corner. Much better surface, much better pitch. The pitch area was fine, no problems there, I just thought that the surface was a little rough. Big ground, but gee it was very windy all day.
The car park at the back of the ground is the place to park. Enter from Waverley Rd opposite Allen St, next to the Bowls Club.

Cliff is still a Premier Cricket ground and Monash Tigers (ex Richmond) 3rds and 4ths play there. Is a very windy ground and has the scoreboard been updated. Was the old VFA side Waverley's scoreboard and numbers very hard to read from the grandstand side.Last time I was there they were building new rooms but the old rooms, grandstand and scorebook looked exactly the same as the 1970's VFA days.

I was at Scoresby yesterday and the ground surface was great.Considering all the rain we have had East Burwood and Vermont ground surface is also in good condition.Nunawading,Surrey Park and Morton Park main oval not good. The Blackburn boys have only trained on the main oval twice this year I have been told and their last home game 10 guys put $100 in each and hired a helicoptor to try and dry the ground out.

With the re developments Blackburn have finally got the approvals to start (suuposed to start 1 Feb 2019) in what has been a tough year for them off field.Walker Park good progress has been made and it is hoped it will be finished early in the new year.

Will most likely see you Cliff on Sat/Sunday,I hope East Burwood have one of my favourites, the schnitzel hamburger.Good luck to all sides on the week end.

Scoreboard was crappy had small numbers, below it was a digital time clock seemed weird

Grandstand is a ripper, great spot to watch the game

Good game of footy I thought
