It makes sense and will save the EFL and the clubs money.I think the clubs get X amount of records each home game and they are billed for them and if they do not sell all of them(and most do not) it costs them money.The extra work load to for club personal to put in the record for their club notes etc.Nearly all clubs have good web sites for every one can view if they wish.
Even if they are only doing an online version, I reckon they will still be asking for club notes, etc.
I believe the only difference is that they are not going to print any copies.
I assume that they may do so for finals though.
