G’day my club faces off against Croydon North in a praccy this week, don’t know too much about them. Can anybody give me some sort of idea what to expect?
They are new to the EFL. Can you please post what you think after you play them. :)

Ventured out to South Belgrave to watch the Practice Match. Rams reserves won by a couple of goals and they had basically no bench. The Seniors went down by 22 points in a tough physical contest. It was a great game to watch considering it was just a practice match. A few players missing from both teams. I think both clubs will be happy for the hit out. Enjoyed the night, great food and beverages and all the spectators enjoyed themselves. Congrats to the South Belgrave Football Club for making us feel welcome.

Can you elaborate on the East Burwood re build.I know Whitehorse Council plan to do one club a year in the future I was at the council meeting when they gave the OK for the Mitcham re development. Some one did read out a list of the re developments in the future, all I can remember was Forest Hill 2024.
Been in the pipeline for some time GMac and now looks to be progressing.

East Burwood played Tyab on the weekend. U 19's cancelled as they didn't have the numbers. Rams Ressies won comfortably and Seniors lost by a margin. Seniors rotated heavily to get some time into their players. I lost count of rotations. They play Whitehorse this week and will be a nice crowd for a practice match.

Mariani Cup

Got a few messages last night that Croydon North didn’t kick a goal against Thornton-Eildon.
Could be a very long season for them if they were fielding anything remotely resembling a full side.

Bit concerning if the EFL brought them in the league and they are horrible...

I’ve heard the game was called off after a huge brawl/melee so not a full game to judge it on.
Scores apparently 46-5 at the time it was called

Yes, there will be a lot of celebrating there tonight. Great win for them.

Their 2nds have had a near 100 point win to.A lot of good work being done off field with sponsors etc if you look at their Face book page.Only early days but it looks like East Burwood how far and Croydon North being competitive is a real concern for D4.Sad I missed this game as plans were to be there.

You can't take much after one game especially thanks to the morons at EFL HQ. EB don't play for three weeks and I will add that the EFL in their pathetic wisdom bring a team in that gives me the perception that they will just be a percentage booster for all the other teams in Div 4/5. Great to see Nunawading win and win comfortably and that's the good news story from round 1. EB looked slick against Forest Hill but it's early days. Amazingly the Rams U19's didn't play because the morons at the EFL have them in Div2 and they had a bye. What an absolute **** up but alas that's what I expect from EFL HQ.

Given that one way or another an U19 side had to have a bye this week, and the Div 4 senior side who had a bye (Silvan) don't have an U19 side I'm not sure who at EFL HQ shit in your cereal.

Some one had to have the bye the week before Easter, its no different to the teams that have the bye the week after Easter or either side of the Queens Bday break.

Silvan do have an Under 19s side and they won today by 178 points against Ringwood...
