That's what pretty much happened. I had a bit of time on my hands at work, so when the question was asked, I googled Laurie's name and 2011 and the link popped up to BHN website.

Every year, every club picks up a few players, some good and some bad. Who has your club picked up, and do they look any good?

In saying this, training form and game form are two very different things.

Just interested in different clubs recruiting!

We have lost two players this offseason that many will recognise...

James "Dukes" Matheson, who was in the top 2-3 in goal kicking in the reserves the past few years. I know Box Hills 2's will breathe a sigh of relief

And former senior captain David "Spanka" Speakman.

Sad to see them hang up the boots! Hopefully they'll be convinced to play a game or two in the clubbies this year

Not sure what the standard is like in this league but I know of a few boys from Bendigo way who are heading to Richmond Centrals. These guys are senior players from the Loddon Valley league, as I said not sure on the standard of the league but the blokes I know said there is about half a dozen of them going.

Seems as though clearances have been lodged for a few of these boys.

Trent Davey, Adam Knight & Joshua Sharp have all been cleared to Richmond, with Michael Davis' clearance denied.

I think these guys will go ok for Richmond, however as stated I haven't seen the standard.

Also noticed a Pettifer from the Kyabram District League has signed at swinburne, can anyone tell me if he is related to Kane?

It's still better than half of WRFL Div2 and most of SFL Div3.

When did you play D4 Kwame? Standard has improved significantly since I first started in 2005 (either that or I'm getting old).

south mornington will be alright this year.. josh kerrigan crossing over from karingal is a pretty good pick up will kick a few goals in d4 huge standard drop

Played at north brunswick in 2002..... Roughly

Played One game in B grade last year..... Will be playing in C grade this year
