I hear a lot of talk concerning new players down at the KB reserve and a solid pre season??? Big Waz can you confirm ???

No I can't confirm.

I can say I'm excited, I always am though... and we're all looking forward to our 25th season in the VAFA.

I still can't believe we finished 9th last year. Reality check.

Most clubs would like to be thinking they have done a solid pre-season I'd say. As per the attached link it seems as though Richmond have signed a few, 13 to be exact.

I notice that Box Hill North have not lodged any clearances and Point Cook have put through an absolute heap! 28 of them, now that is a lot of new faces!!

Swinburne had a lot of players on the track last night.... Somewhere near 40. Looked a pretty handy bunch from the five minutes I saw and I think they'll be contenders this year.

Mate I haven't done any running since the last time I played you guys... Dukes was a very straight kick, not sure who will replace him.

Swinburne must be very happy with picking up Daniel Alexander from the Central Murray League, a promising young player who developed into a strong defender towards the end of last year.

Other news out of Swinburne is that Tom Kennedy has been working hard on his fitness after gaining a reputation of being a bit lazy on the filed (justified IMO) and has also bulked up a bit and will hopefully be a genuine 1's half forward player after kicking a lot of goals last year in the 2's At 24-25 now the coaching staff are really hoping he can kick on.

I walked down to the Swinburne training last Wednesday and I must say that a few of their new recruits look to be the cream of the proverbial cake.

Notable mention to C. Ball who has come over a key position player from De La Salle.

I suspect that there will be a few nervous key defenders in the D4.

I have done some research on C. Ball and can't find any information regarding his goal scoring ability.

Perhaps you could enlighten us? i.e. How many goals kicked last year, height, weight, style of play etc.

Norfolk.... The big Avacado, are you referring to a player that RAFC have signed from Old Scotch? If so that is a major boost for the club, adding yet another quality player to the already expanding fun box down there at KB reserve. All people associated with the club must be getting excited about the upcoming season???
