Surely Point Cook and Richmond would have to be firming into starting favourites for the flag with their ridculous amounts of clearances? Either they will be forming more sides or having to swap full teams from the bench NFL/NHL style.

Perhaps PC will be entering an U19's team this season? With all the juniors coming through, you'd think it'd be the best option. Its either that or play them in Club XVIII?

Whispers.... would'nt you think that they would look to open the 'fun box' of new recruits that they have down there and start maybe the big avacado on him.

Wont be down Burnley oval way tonight, heading down to have a look at the Uni boys....wondering if there will be any sight of the ex AFL/VFL ruckman that I am hearing about. Watch this space, as I could confirm which AFL club he played at tomorrow.

Well I am hoping that it isn't another lockout session at Burnley Oval tonight... I want to really get a handle on the new forward press that the Centrals are carving into their ever expanding 'fun box' of tricks.

Be interested in what you see down at the Uni boys way, would you do me the favor of looking at the raking left footer Dan Alexander who has just travelled down the Hume Hwy from the Central Murray Football Netball League.
My whispers tell me that he has been putting in some serious time in the 'strong man' room.
Cant miss him Slurpee01, he will be the one drilling snags from the boundary after training.

Whispers out.

You'd think that the big avocado would be able to handles Jay-Z's cousin rather comfortably, A-Grade Vs Loddon Valley, answers itself.

Surely they haven't got Fev!?

OK you heard it here first Swinburne are in talks with an ex Collingwood ruckman who played only a handful of games and is currently responsible for running message's from the coaches box to the players!

Dont worry about your Kay Z's, Big avacado's or fun boxes people, If this is pulled off it will be the biggest VAFA signing this year!

Just heard from a mate at Old Scotch that Richmond Centrals newest recruit Seb "Avocado" Angus is due to make a returnCamberwell Road this afternoon, apology in tow and looking forward to playing out the season at Old Scotch.

Watch this space, could do big harms to the self proclaimed pre-season hype of the station masters.

Went down and had a look at the Uni boys last night.

Strong turn up of players, I think I counted 48 boys on the track. My sources close to the razorbacks camp is that they are confident Justin Crow will play just the required amount of games in order to qualify him for the finals (which they are confident of making). Justin studied at Swinburne and has a number of close mates that play for the club.

Whispers you will be pleased to know that I did lay eyes on Dan Alexander, who has been putting in a number of hours in the strong room. This hasnt taken anything away from the young man's pace. I noticed him break away from the main group and complete some 1 on 1 work with a number of the coaching staff (who he rag dolled). One coach was
overheard saying "it was like trying to defend a f***ing racehorse".

Pencil in Swinburne to be up and about during the early rounds but may struggle when the holidays roll around as many of the students including big Dan Alexander become a little homesick and miss their mothers cooking!

Slurpee01. I got down for the last hour of Centrals training and I must say that the squad really is a 'fun box' full of a few liquorice all-sorts.

Will be interesting to see how they go picking their senior side from such large numbers.

Slurpee01. Interested in a road trip down the Peninsula next Wednesday? Ill be easing the Toyota Corolla down the Neapen Hwy and an hour swapping notes and anecdotes about D4 ammo football would defiantly be the highlight of my week.

Take your time and I look forward to your reply.

Whispers out.

I know for a fact that you are not "rocking" a Toyota Corolla, nor have you ever stepped foot in such a vehicle.

Just another player update from what I heard at 7 eleven whilst standing around the slurpee machine last night:

Kenneth Zudiema Nth Brunswick - "Bluey" Has moved down to Melbourne for uni, after last year playing 18 games for YCW in the Loddon Valley Football League and jailing 46 majors from CHF. The orange ruffie or man child as they have been calling him at training will look to impose his 21yr old, 110kg frame on each and every CHB in the comp.

s.

Hahahaha, it really is Chinese Whispers on here. SportingPulse says played 15 Games and kicked 18 goals last year. Mate from Bendigo says he played CHB for the latter stage of the season after busting his hand Vs Mitiamo.

Chaz051.

I take humbridge to your comment. I will be in the trusty Corolla, but I am thinking of trading it in and getting a new car on a 14 year lease....

Reads like a mens room wall :)

Beat me to it Nathan/Ryan, well said sir!

Whispers, I wouldn’t recommend a 14 year lease as I can imagine the interest would sky rocket, maybe go with the regular 4 or 5?

May I recommend a Skoda, purrs like a kitten.

A friend of mine you might know Chaz051 went down the path of leasing a vehicle... you dont seem like a silly enough person to buy something out of their financial bracket.

Will the Clubbies Division be graced by yourself again Chaz051, or are the hamstrings shot?

I will be running around in the Club XVIII again for the yellow and black this year, looking forward to going 1 better this season and making the Grand Final, and hopefully taking home the greatest prize in football, a Club XVIII (South) flag.

Perhaps we could share a Boags Draught soon if you are ever down at KB Oval, I take goal kicking clinics Tuesday through Thursday from about 6pm onwards (bookings essential)

Our practice match with Canterbury (EFL div4) was cancelled... Its been hard to get a match on the weekend of the 19th March, bloody cricket grand finals...

Anyone else playing a match soon?

Interesting signing made by Chadstone, they have grabbed Jordan Kidd from the Wandin Under 18's who had some impressive games last year, if he is anything like his older brother Jason he'll likely provide plenty of assists to the Chadstone forwards and be a very good shot from outside the arc...

Couple of good signings made for Richmond over the weekend, no names until they've gone through however one has made a big impression in his choice of ale... loves the piss:thumbsu:

Whispers has heard that rcafc are now finalizing their practise games schedule leading into round 1.

I am interested to know if slurpee01 or norfolk could enlighten me as to how they plan to approach these hit outs?

Considering the amount of new players that could be potentially lining up for rd 1 I would predict that there will be some recruits looking to impress.
