Was just on CN 10 news,

He got off with a $600 fine and six months good behaviour. :thumbsu:

They said he was drowing his sorrows after not getting picked for the GF team.

Hmmm....careful....sounds like a bad culture to me!!! :D j/k

If I missed out on getting picked to play in a GF I'd probably get smashed too!! Lucky he only got what he did! I'm sure he'll make an effort to be there again at next years GF!

The club had also fined him an additional $2000 already and I am sure he would have had an internal reprimand and told about possible penalties if it happens again.
Not a real good night for him though considering the police had already dropped him home and he decided to go back out and cause more problems.

"Drownings his sorrows for not being picked for the GF"

really thats rubbish, like he was ever a chance? The only possible changes would 've been blake and king, maybe byrnes and varcoe or prismal.

Correct me if im wrong but didnt he attack a man and a woman...i dont think it was simply getting too drunk. ANd drowning ur sorrows and then attacking a man and a woman is not on no matter wat.

Well i hope everything is ok now, one of my favourite players.

Lol, yeah and hid in a laneway. Then the cops found him. Doesn't sound like the sharpest tool in the shed does he? :D

I found it funny, when the reporter stated "And he must behave himself for at least six months"...

Yeah and after that go nuts DJ, by all means. :thumbsu:

I think the VFL players had made a choice to defer their own celebrations in an attempt to help the senior players get ready for the grand final and it was possible any of them may have needed to play the following week for whatever reason.

That night he would have found out he was no chance of being named an emergancey and must have felt free to get drunk.
