Carlton will be fine in a couple years if they don't shit the bed. 2 x father/sons last year 2 more this year coming, a top 3 pick last year and another 2 x top 10 coming this year. A couple years and they'll be coming strong unless they panic.

They have a few to move on though, I reckon I could find 15 to delist but no point doing it unless you can find better.

Their playing style is well suited to finals when it's congested and often cold weather footy.
However, it's so taxing that they can barely make it to the finals.

They are in a no win situation.

They keep the disengaged and underperforming players and maintain status quo in the bottom 6 - look at the Melbourne model (and they've got more out of their youth than Carlton has this year).

Or they trade two or three of them out (TDK is clearly one of them) and rebuild v5 of the 21st century commences.

6 games out of 23 wouldn't generally classify as 'most' to people with a primary level education or above.
