So none of them are 'good players' because they haven't had career best years?Hewett has been ok this year, Weitering has hung in there, but the rest of those names have gone backwards in 2025![]()
He is 20 years old... focus on the positives and less on the negatives.Have heard a few people talking up Lord, I just don't see it. Every bit the butcher as some of our other names regularly called out for poor disposal imo.

Not much, except for the fact that they're going to win 3 of the next 5 flags, because Geelong did so after missing the finals in 2006...What's up today at #FewTweaksFC
No one's talking about them glowingly, that's for sureSo none of them are 'good players' because they haven't had career best years?![]()
I probably should. He is 20 years old... focus on the positives and less on the negatives.
For a mid season draftee he's going well, yes his kicking isn't great but he's still so young and has plenty room for improvement. I get what your saying thoughI probably should lol
Just hard when its our most glaring issue imo - yet another bloke coming through who can't kick the thing, its so not what we need lol
Not even someone as lobotomized as you or Fadge actually believe that. Why don't you stick to the banter thread where you're actually allowed to troll? No one's talking about them glowingly, that's for sure
Blues have been terrible since July last year, that's their level now
This year ran how last year ended, continuous mediocrity, this is their level and why they need to rebuild urgently
It's only a sample size of 31 consecutive games, need more evidenceSo highlighting that a team is as good (or as bad) as their ladder position indicates, is regarded as 'trolling'.
Oh boy.

No, no, no.It's only a sample size of 31 consecutive games, need more evidence![]()
Well you finished second last year so thought you might be able to improve on that.We won't win the flag even with Nasiah next year but we'll make the 8 and we will win a final or 2.
I didn't even write the post you responded to?Recruit players who have some heart and progress to playing finals on a consistent basis![]()
No, saying a team's only two 'good' players are Moir and Jagga Smith(who's yet to play a game) is 'trolling' because it's clearly untrue and idiotic. So highlighting that a team is as good (or as bad) as their ladder position indicates, is regarded as 'trolling'.
Oh boy.
You actually make a good point here. No, saying a team's only two 'good' players are Moir and Jagga Smith(who's yet to play a game) is 'trolling' because it's clearly untrue and idiotic.
Probably when we don't have 100k+ membersSince the bye last season Carlton are 11 wins and 21 losses.
Six of those 11 wins are against Richmond, North and Eagles. And they somehow dropped two losses against North and Richmond.
Even when gifted with the softest draw in the comp they still balls it up.
At what point does Carlton get lumped in with the Saints/North in the perennial merger debate?
So, a matter of time?Probably when we don't have 100k+ members
The second largest membership base in the comp in a year we've been absolutely putrid. So, a matter of time?
We're now into our second generation of kids who are looking at their parents and asking 'Why did you do this to me?'.The second largest membership base in the comp in a year we've been absolutely putrid.
Does that sound like a club they'll put up for a merger to you Fadge? Surely not even you're that stupid...
Right... So in 50 years time we might have to worry about it if we haven't turned around our form...We're now into our second generation of kids who are looking at their parents and asking 'Why did you do this to me?'.
Those 'supporters' aren't going to do the same thing to their own kids.
So, a matter of time.
So , same thinking for Essendon, St Kilda, and the Dockers then ?We're now into our second generation of kids who are looking at their parents and asking 'Why did you do this to me?'.
Those 'supporters' aren't going to do the same thing to their own kids.
