This thread's about Carlton. So , same thinking for Essendon, St Kilda, and the Dockers then ?
Why would I go off on a tangent and comment about other teams?
Stop the whataboutism. It reeks of desperation.

Point being, those clubs are going to be around forever, irrespective of supporter base. Same as Carlton What you wrote is baseless, and wrong as per usualThis thread's about Carlton.

That's what the Fitzroy supporters were saying in the 60's.Point being, those clubs are going to be around forever, irrespective of supporter base. Same as Carlton What you wrote is baseless, and wrong as per usual
McKay would be a walk up start in your forward line come on mate it's being held together by Tim Membrey and an inconsistent Dan McStay. Mihochek is your only good KPF. McKay would have better users delivering the ball to him too.The best players are Cripps, Weitering, De Koning, Walsh and maybe Hewitt or Curnow.
The rest would have to work their ass off to get a regular game in a side contending for a premiership

Not sure McKay is value for money in any team.McKay would be a walk up start in your forward line come on mate it's being held together by Tim Membrey and an inconsistent Dan McStay. Mihochek is your only good KPF. McKay would have better users delivering the ball to him too.
He's a modern-day Wes Fellowes, they need to move him onNot sure McKay is value for money in any team.
Pass.
Ah yes a ruckman who kicked 35 goals in 125 games. I definitely see the similarities...He's a modern-day Wes Fellowes, they need to move him on
Don't bother. Unless you are being traded from the Blues you are no good. Only have to look at the switch-up they all made on Owies when he was traded only to be proven wrong once again. Will do the same with Silvagni if he ends up going.McKay would be a walk up start in your forward line come on mate it's being held together by Tim Membrey and an inconsistent Dan McStay. Also won the B & F in his one good season, dominated all yearAh yes a ruckman who kicked 35 goals in 125 games. I definitely see the similarities...

If you think McKay has had one good season it's hard to believe you watch much of Carlton. Also won the B & F in his one good season, dominated all year![]()
Enigmatic like old mate![]()
I think he's similar to Fellowes in that he's got everything but struggles with confidence and self-belief, he really should be dominatingIf you think McKay has had one good season it's hard to believe you watch much of Carlton.
Last year was a career best year for him. This year has missed due to injury or mental health stuff but has still played pretty well in limited games. Pretty much won us the games against Geelong and St Kilda and his last two games since returning have been good with limited support up forward.I think he's similar to Fellowes in that he's got everything but struggles with confidence and self-belief, he really should be dominating
I think he's at his best when he can pinch hit in the ruck, that way he's always in the game and hasn't got time to sulkLast year was a career best year for him. I agree but there have only been three games this season where we have played Harry + TDK + Pittonet. We have mainly done the two rucks because either Curnow or McKay have been out making TDK pretty much the forward that pinch hits in the ruck. Now as our season is over they are giving HOK (a ruck/forward) a run to see what he's like which is fair enough.I think he's at his best when he can pinch hit in the ruck, that way he's always in the game and hasn't got time to sulk
Playing two rucks kills that
Is this what you were expecting to see at a time when Cripps is 31, Harry, Charlie and Weiters in their late 20's, and Walsh mid 20's?We’ll see that blues may cut hard during the off season and tolerate a poor 2026
Makes the path easier, and sets more realistic expectations going into 2027
Why do you always feel the need to repeat the same stuff in a dozen or so Carlton related threads on the main board ?Is this what you were expecting to see at a time when Cripps is 31, Harry, Charlie and Weiters in their late 20's, and Walsh mid 20's?
I'm not allowed to comment on Carlton list management, in a thread about Carlton and a list rebuild? Why do you always feel the need to repeat the same stuff in a dozen or so Carlton related threads on the main board ?
Keep infecting every Carlton thread with your cut and paste jobs you go getter you. Takes a special human being I supposeI'm not allowed to comment on Carlton list management, in a thread about Carlton and a list rebuild?
When your rating of Carlton players has been as consistently wrong as urs has, no... You shouldn't.I'm not allowed to comment on Carlton list management, in a thread about Carlton and a list rebuild?

Kennedy a VFL plodder
Silvagni a spud
Elijah Hollands a D grader
Mason Cox > Walsh
The list could go on forever
The same 2 Pies posters who bully anyone who doesn’t think Daicos is GOAT (yes I’m talking about you Fadge and Corn Cobb) are alive and well in a Carlton thread I see. We really need to get you blokes something to occupy yourselves with.
You had the Blues top 2 this year, for startersWhen your rating of Carlton players has been as consistently wrong as urs has, no... You shouldn't.
