You played a half baked Port team, who had a number of players 'injured', given they had a top of the table clash against Collingwood the following week...Is this the first time in history a player has missed 1 week with injury or something?

You said above "position themselves for finals" which is the point I am arguing against. Your definition of premiership contention is completely subjective.Oh boy.
If you think 'having a finals run' is the same as 'contending for a premiership', you have some learning to do...
Sorry. It was the greatest run in history Fadge, all guns firing and Charlie unstoppable, don't you dare talk it down
This the same cavalry you spent years calling crap? You had a cavalry in those days, it's gone
Need a rebuild as per the thread title![]()

If you've posted screenshots of this mythical prediction, you should have no trouble finding them, Fadge can't edit your postsI've posted screenshots many times before Corn, it appears the Squib has gone and deleted his old posts about it!
"Charlie unstoppable" lol. Hilarious that your attempt at humour actually disproves your mates whole point. It was the greatest run in history Fadge, all guns firing and Charlie unstoppable, don't you dare talk it down
They were crap but better than having no cavalry at all and having to play guys like Evans and WhiteThis the same cavalry you spent years calling crap?
You first Corn. Im still waiting on all the admissions of fault in all your garbage predictions that have been going for years on end!If you've posted screenshots of this mythical prediction, you should have no trouble finding them, Fadge can't edit your posts
Or you can man up, admit you were wrong, daily, and apologise
Kennedy still a VFL plodder? They were crap but better than having no cavalry at all and having to play guys like Evans and White
Such as?You first Corn. Im still waiting on all the admissions of fault in all your garbage predictions that have been going for years on end!

They'll wait to see whether they get Silvagni or not to make their mind up. Just like how Owies turned from spud to the second coming of Eddie Betts after being traded.Kennedy still a VFL plodder?
Silvagni a bum who only gets a game because of his last name?
We played Brisbane, Collingwood, Adelaide, GWS, Fremantle all before the bye with a combination (or all) of Henry, Kolodjashnij and SDK missing. KPD choices 1-3. Clubs with depth win with guys out.LOLOLOLOL.
All of the above teams can and have been able to cover one, two or three of their very best 6 over the course of multiple seasons.
Carlton need EVERY one of their top 6 humming to position themselves for finals, and potentially contend for top 4, which is never going to happen.
Carlton's list will regress for the second consecutive season this off season, and will be ripe for a bottom 4 finish in 2026.
And not a single one of them would be in your best 5-6 players... So your point is moot.We played Brisbane, Collingwood, Adelaide, GWS, Fremantle all before the bye with a combination (or all) of Henry, Kolodjashnij and SDK missing. KPD choices 1-3. Clubs with depth win with guys out.
Ah yes Carlton only win when they don't have injuriesWe played Brisbane, Collingwood, Adelaide, GWS, Fremantle all before the bye with a combination (or all) of Henry, Kolodjashnij and SDK missing. KPD choices 1-3. Clubs with depth win with guys out.

Clearly reading comprehension isn't a strong point of yours. Do you know what recent form means?
So you were talking about their January form? All good thenClearly reading comprehension isn't a strong point of yours. Do you know what recent form means?
Are you aware that form is a fluid thing? Sam Docherty was once an AA half back flanker and one of the best defenders in the competition. He just retired on Thursday night because his body has said enough is enough and he wasn't playing to the standards required at AFL level.
Once upon a time De Goey was considered one of the Pies best players too, he's playing in the VFL this weekend.

Oh wow how incriminating
Go dig it up in the banter thread. You melts had me banned from there so I'll leave it for you to track it down.Oh wow how incriminating
Now where's the 17th/prelim smoking gun?
I'll try champ, don't want to be mediocre like Pendles and Sidey
Na mate you can still access the thread and it's your bullshit accusation, that you run with daily, you dig it upGo dig it up in the banter thread. You melts had me banned from there so I'll leave it for you to track it down.
Was posted about 50 times so shouldn't be too hard.

As always, trying to turn this into the Pies vs Blues thread. Perhaps next time don't go crying to mods with ur pals if you want to engage in s***posting with me and the other posters you lot cried about.I'll try champ, don't want to be mediocre like Pendles and Sidey
We tried to warn you last summer, Blues shredded their depth, now the bottom has fallen out, everyone wants to leave, rebuild inevitableAs always, trying to turn this into the Pies vs Blues thread. Perhaps next time don't go crying to mods with ur pals if you want to engage in s***posting with me and the other posters you lot cried about.
Now going back to the topic of this thread, Carlton won't be undertaking a rebuild nor do they need to. List needs some tweaks end of year but still plenty of talent and up and coming kids to keep us regenerating on the run.
