Do it for Bucks

what have any of them done to be known as forwards??

Travis Cloke is 19 years in the hardest position on the ground, Centre half-forward, they take time to develop. He will be very good.

Rusling has played a few good halves of football, but he's immensely talented. He's very raw and young may I add.

Fraser has had to play in the ruck, but he's a smart player who drifts forward.

yes, but he was talking about KPP forwards, who Collingwood are lacking in.

so it is you who is clueless:rolleyes:
Didnt Rocca kick 50 goals last year?

Do it for Bucks.....what a joke....but in the end it is Collingwood :D

Hird is in the same category as the mighty M.Voss, will do everything to get his team over the line and win premierships and a superb player in his own right. As for Buckles, he means well, but in the end he is a receiver with a brilliant kick on him....nothing more, nothing less.

O and I do love his quote when leaving the Bears; "I am going to Collingwood to play in finals".....suppose he did play a few, but didn't win the big ones against the team he left :o

Good to see you can compare him with Hirdy and Vossy, no modern day Richmond player approaches the lofty standards of those three, quite pitiful you don't have a genuine superstar of modern times to appreciate:thumbsu: .
My commiserations:)

Do you even know what a final is?

Alot more than Courtney Johns.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA :p

yep, and Lloyd and Lucas beat most clubs KPP forwards hands down, let alone Collingwood, but if you want to mention our 3rd maybe 4th best forward then go ahead.

On ANZAC with Clement on Lloyd who will play on Lucas, Laycock and Johns

i can't wait

...

and Bucks has played in finals, he got his wish.

If you have ever watched Richmond train it makes the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island look like an Olympic Triathlon. They are a bloody joke. They giggle, drop simple handballs, kick more points then Richo on a good day, laugh when their coach yells at them which makes him laugh as well, look up at birds overflying, drop chest marks, then do one lap and call it a day...

but I'm talking about Richmond here! :D

I see this has turned into another Voss vs Buckley vs Hird. It is always a premiership medallion that splits two away from the one, despite when rating an individual you have to use your brain a little better. Football is a team sport and a premiership is a teams goal. Obviously a big prize for an individual is to win a premiership, however when rating an individual other awards should be looked at. Buckley and Hird are the most decorated footballers going around and Michael Voss is the best leader in the modern era.

Enough said, Buckley has the best skills, Hird is the most invincable at his best, and Voss is so great at leading his team to success. They are as good as each other, and still suprisingly a premiership medallion splits them.

As for this thread, stupid.

collingwoods forward line......2007.......Fraser,rocca,rusling,travis cloke,Medhurst, leon davis,Didak(when he gets back),Buckley(who'll play forward most of next year.................................................
add in a few prospects from this years draft...and who said we can't goals.
Most non collingwood supporters, don't realise that we missed 4th possie by one lousy game without our forward line functioning...I rest my case.the proof in the pudding will be 2007/2008 ..lets just see what transpires

1) Source of the quote please. You cannot quote someone without showing the source, or it can be believed as fake. No-one has proved this to me how ever many times I ask, yet it continues to be bought up. To us, it is nothing more than a generalisation.

2) Buckley left Brisbane Bears because he was given the opportunity of playing at a club with better resources, ie. Facilities.

3) He decided he wanted to go to Collingwood because he wanted to play AFL football in Melbourne, and his first option was Collingwood because of the black and white heritage, being his respect to the club (he followed North Melbourne as a kid I am pretty sure), and he admired the fact of big crowds and great support.

Excuses mate, for a bloody fixtured game. I haven't seen much excuses of Collingwood losing the amount of Grand Finals we have. We all accepted that the opposition on the day was better, and we accept that. If there are fans who make excuses, they are too one eyed for a simple piece of discussion.

  • Presti will play on Lloyd, and may get another Brownlow Vote against the Dons.
  • Clement will oppose James Hird.
  • Wakelin will play on Lucas, if not Clement while Heath Shaw runs with Jimmy in the middle as he can't get the ball.
  • Nick Maxwell will take Courtney Johns and do a good job on him, physchologically will get into Johns mind.
  • The great man Heritier will take Laycock if Essendon are stupid enough to crowd a forward line consisting of Lloyd and Lucas with other tall duds. Harry can play tall and he will never lose his feet in a contest, as he never has!

Untrue. Now the great Voss has retired Adam Goodes is. Two Brownlows, one premiership medal, All Australian, Indigenous team member, modest, intelligent . Hird, argueably may be with - one brownlow, two premierships, but FIG definitely not - one brownlow - NO PREMIERSHIP. Or are we just talking white men here?
