Do shops start decorating for Christmas too early?

I can't remember what shop it was - maybe Myer, but in mid-early September they had already started putting up the Christmas decorations and stock for the festive season. I don't know if this was just leftovers from Christmas in July, but is it just me or do stores seem to be getting ready for Christmas earlier and earlier each year?

Yes but i'm waiting for the shops to put up signs promoting Ramadan (it's due soon) Oh i'm sorry, the Muslims don't go for self-promotion or selling out their relgious holidays for monetry reasons. They have too much intergity for that. PS the Muslim kids earn their presents a lot more than snobby Chrissy Kids as they have to fast for a month from sunrise to sunset.
My four year old cousin is starting this year and i'm proud of her.

PS Yes i am a muslim and i'm proud of it.
PPS I don't want any abusive threats because of my religous background

Actually to tell you the truth it hasn't been as bad this year (probably it's going to be a sub-dued event this year due to the tragedy in the US of A)
Still those bloody crispo hamper ads with that annoying bitch really irritate me.

"Christmas" was never a pagan ritual, because Christmas is about Christ.
However I believe that the pagan winter solstice was adapted by Christians and changed to make their own holiday.

And why not? It's a good time of year to celebrate.

Christmas is about getting presents, and eating chocolate, and roast pork, or roast chicken, potatos, peas and carrots.

But, it is mainly about presents.
