Do the Crows really train in a carpark or are the Power fans just trolling?

Was walking through the car park to get to Football Park on Friday night and I walked past a set of goal posts. There was a uniformed guy waving his arms and directing cars where to go so I asked him to confirm that this was Max Basheer Reserve.

"Yep that's right".

"That's where the Crows train isn't it?"

"Yep"

"What are you letting cars drive on it for?"

"Mate it's a car park. It's been a car park for thirty years. We're not changing that to suit the Crows. Where else can people go?"

"Do the Crows ever get to train inside the ground?"

"Yep when we want to mow the grass out here we move them in."

"What about Port?"

"Yeah they train inside a bit too but usually they train at Alberton Oval."

You might have thought I was kidding so I took some pics...

Once inside I saw the Adelaide cheer squad erect a banner referring to their team as the Camry Crows! Holy Toledo! I thought that stuff went out the window years ago after the words in the club song got changed from "Mighty Camry Crows".

So there you have it folks. When you still think of yourself as an advertising gimmick for a car company then naturally you'll be happy to train in a car park.

From a thread i saw about it, how true it is, I don't know, photos seem to prove it though.

Yeah we train in a carpark. The players and staff move the parked cars into various positions during drills so we can save money on cones and jumping bags.
I think I even saw the Birdman leap three cars in a single bound during training. Of course they were only Camrys, but impressive nevertheless. I also think I saw a parking inspector chasing McLeod, but he couldn't catch him to pin a ticket on his guernsey, but poor Biglands couldn't move fast enough and copped a fine.

There was some bloke out there with a camera, but he seemed to pay no attention to the training, he was just focused on the rear section of stray dogs. Don't know who he was, but he didn't look that bright.;)

When the players are practising their goal kicking do the crowd beep their horns when a goal is scored? :)

Its such a well designed car park it has goal posts so you can practice your reverse parking, and sprinklers in case your car overheats.

Toots is the most sickest individual on this board, I have never seen a more disturbing image that the one he took of the poor innocent dog. The fact that he takes pot;s like that is one step below the guys with cameras on their shoes in the Melb trams. Toots needs help, and the RSPCA need to step in.

*Waits for Toots buddy Rory to chime in with a "Rex go and get stuffed"*

Until you have something meaingful to say, or at least show prode in the club your support, stop waisting our time.
