I think we should use pick 1 to draft Rankine. He has so much skill and pace. Very good chance to be an A grade player.

Walsh plays like Bryce Gibbs. He has no pace, will consistently get 20 possessions a game but won't win a game off his own boot. He will be a B grade player.

Drafting midfielders is easy by Rankine comes along once in a generation.

Our forward will have plenty of potency next year with Rankine in it.

Hope so. Be a good back up for LeBois & Polson then Murphy. Should kick 30 plus goals for the Northern Blues :)
I don't think Fas will spend much time at VFL level. If he can stay fit he will be a handful for opposition defenders. Tell you what, if he doesn't kick 30 goals plus I'll buy you a slab of beer.
As for Lebois, I have visions of his unflookey left foot snaps from the left pocket. I hope he can finally make the transition.
Unfortunately, I don't think Polson can stake a place on pressure alone.
I'm not sure what to expect from Murphy. I wouldn't mind seeing him spend more time up forward: but I don't think that will happen given we haven't really added a whole of experience in midfield, YET.

Higher calorie diets are actually beneficial when healing broken bones.

Bit of a cruel irony I’d say.

I've been on a high calorie diet since I broke my arm in '95.

Better stay on it, just in case my arm hasn't fully healed.

Needs to get focussed and fit. Simple as that. If he does he will be a weapon off HB or on a wing and will make us a much better side. Has the talent and X factor. Up to him and hopefully Russell will help get the best out of him.
Been unlucky with injury. Was good to go last year. He will be scrappy at the start and make mistakes cas he just hasnt had enough AFL experience having only played 17 games in 4 years so I dont expect much until after 4-6 rounds but will find his place and be a weapon if he can get a clean run at it.

Definitely one to watch build into the season.

Totally agree. :thumbsu:

I see a lot of goals coming from our mids as well. Cripps Kennedy Setterfield SPS Dow Fisher can all kick multiples
It will become infectious. Kick it to me, kick it to me......bang bang bang..goaaaaal. I can hear the late Drew Morphet calling it. This Carlton couldnt kick skin of a rice pudding last year and now they slam em in like shooting ducks in a sideshow gallery.

Some else mentioned that Puopolo debut at 23 years old. Polson is 19/20. Give him time.
