Wha

What is the benefit in keeping him?

For starters the payout would probably be crippling and there are other things to address before Dimma, ie the ordinary playing list and staff and structures concerning recruitment. Had we only had to pay the coach 1 year of his contract then I would have been more amenable to saying thanks for the 7 years and moving him on.

What if this year ends up being one major troll and we make top 4 next year...?
What business damages it brand to the point its shares drop and those left standing are financial victims of the damaged brand only to say "surprise we were just f****n with yas"

Our record membership off the back of three consecutive finals campaigns will now spiral downwards at a rate of knots.

The assistants of so the club has been sprucing are and have not been renewed, payout Hardwick 1 mill lose say 10000 members lose 2.5 mill or thereabouts no brainer really

Not sure about playing a lot of youth apart from Rioli and Short. He gave token games to kids who clearly are not ready to try and justify some terrible results. Don't believe the spin.
Correct. Youth doesn't necessarily equal promising or good.
Not sure what he was thinking gifting Chol a game when he clearly was nowhere near ready. Whether he will ever be ready is one for the future, but blokes like Elton have been on the list forever and it's obvious to everyone he will not make it.

Building excuses , is the only reason to play players when they aren't ready, similar to playing players for 1 game all about self preservation, he had the excuses all lined up

He was thinking we are gonna get flogged no matter what so I'll chuck in Chol and use him as an excuse at the presser. His may sound cynical but I reckon it's spot on.

At the end of the day Damien will be here next year and possibly the year after, we invested to much money in him to be able to get rid of him so we might as well back him in to have a crack till his time is up.

He saw that Sydney were playing Alirx2

??? how good is your maths mate ?????
$2.5-1=1.5 mil saved in one year. Plus sponsorship plus gates plus merchandise.

Let's take it a season at a time. If next year is anything like this year Dimma won't be at Richmond in 2018. Even Peggy and Brendan would know this; the 2 year extension has blown up in their faces. A really stupid thing to do.

So what we've in essence found out is that McBean and Elton are not up to it; Moore and Chol a good 10 miles off the pace and that the lazy bloke, who provides no contest and doesn't give a **** is still our second best forward. Yet the coach thinks the list is in the best shape in seven years ;) And we may trade out or only good key forward.

Humans play sport. Other creatures on earth do not play organised sport. Sport, whether playing it or watching it, is an emotional endeavour.
Humans have emotions. Our sporting clubs and teams hold our emotions in their colours, name and identity. That's why we bond with a club and entrust that chosen club to hold our emotions from the day we decide to 'follow' them.

On the other hand, your set of rules for this thread are ridiculous and prevent anybody from being human. Your rules are fantastic if applied to robots communicating with each other. Not humans.
I'm sure North Korean President Kim Jong-un would be proud of you, because you have just devised the perfect set of rules for a North Korean run Sporting Forum.

Please be advised that 'Dick Measuring Contests' are a traditional pastime of well run Western World (Free) Sporting Forums.

And for that reason I would like to seek Refugee Status OUT OF this Dictatorial Thread.
I hope whatever Robots you have pre-programmed for this thread can decide on a new coach for Richmond.

(Psst....Please don't go to the Football either. I'm sure most of your Rules are broken there regularly)

Cheers

I am afraid if we win a few games early on, in 2017, that peggy and gale might offer hardwick another extension.....

We won't make money but we'll certainly save more by terminating him. I would think that his payout figure would be significantly less than the anticipated loss of members, gate receipts and potential sponsor ramifications. Our brand is being damaged at a ridiculous rate by this fool.

I am of the view we need a new coach, Hardwick just doesn't have the smarts and is not gonna change well he's incharge. Th game plan is terrible, I've been to every home game this year and when the fans boo every week when they start chipping backwards and refuse to go direct Down the ground.
A major overhaul is needed

I suppose it depends on what you view our problems to be? For me having a competent coach who is a strong leader will have a huge positive flow on for the club. Imo Keeping hardwick will cripple the club further. More so then losing a million bucks

So you're saying we back him in to have a crack next year and the year after like his miserable crack at it this year? Or was it everyone else's fault and not DHs?
