Oh well we practised our entries into the forward 50 during the week, it was obvious
the firward line has absoluteky no structure . vicjery leads up at the ball twice and gets two marks . it aint rocket science you need
a big target whom you can go off and is the starting point for all other players.
lids , dustin, sedwards, bellis , cellis and rioli all run and carry players were shit and it hapoens to often that they go missing .
the current group doesnt to have enough competitors , blokes really hurt when they loose and go the extra yard to ensure the job gets done.

We were only 30 odd tackles and inside 50's away from a top side. Dimma had always said tackling is overrated, maybe our chip chip chip turnover game plan doesn't give us enough inside 50's to beat all most anyone. We must have done more talented kids we can destroy by putting them on the half back flank. That's where games are won from. What's that, it's not 2007 anymore...oh well we don't have another game plan so no use talking about it. Now who can I blame this week.

Ratten would only be a slight upgrade on DH. No thanks as he's a follower and loves mids who are HBF .apart from Judd he left the CFC with a group of selfish pretty boys with no LEADERS.
Ratten would not help us to a finals win let alone a flag.
I know we are desperate , but please ladies and gents eradicate this yes man from your list

No, but any f****nbody would be an upgrade, hell even crazy voss would be in apgrade on this "coach"

Better get used to some Sunday twilight games and no Friday or Saturday night games for the next few years guys n gals, while this bloke is in charge we are going nowhere. Plays same blokes in same roles week in week out and backs them to improve. They don't improve and he isn't held accountable.

Just about had enough, getting hard to defend this club anymore, promises not even half delivered. Stability but going backwards half a step each week while other clubs are going a step ahead each week, maybe that's what he was referring to after the R3 loss o_O

One can hope that we no longer play in primetime. Our players just don't seem to be able to handle blockbusters and big games well.

Just move the games to Saturday/Sunday twilight and Saturday/Sunday afternoon. I think I'd be able to handle the thrashings better away from the spotlight and away from free-to-air

Haha what bs . Finals are based around this. We just don't have a
list or a FD that can put together a playing list . Prime time is an insipid excuse. If you cannot see the flaws in our list then you're delusional like our FD.

Don't get me wrong, we have holes all over the ground and I stated this in other posts. Primetime only adds to that.

I just want us to regenerate our list and FD away from primetime. I want them to become mentally strong, and I doubt that'll happen in the blockbuster that Friday night is

Yeah, let's continue to accept the mediocre outputs the club gives us. Tin rattling just around the corner........

no i want us to do our rebuild under immense pressure of the public eye as it would make us mentally tougher.but mate we are miles away from both of our dreams of this rebuild

You know, it could have just been a quick regeneration of the list if it started in 2014 after being 3-10 or even in 2015 after getting thrashed in the 2014 EF.

But now it looks like it'll be a while, even if the club finally caves into what needed to be done for years

But the side won three games in a row and all the talk was how the Club would spring board towards a run at the Finals. Of course that's forgetting that two of those sides have collectively won one game between them to this point of the season, but you know you can't spell #eci without a sprinkle of delusion. Still the Tigers come up against the Suns next week who are in a rich vein of form so that will be the perfect gauge to know where the Club & Coach is really at.....

For those wanting to sack dimma, best to remember two new rules.

Firstly, we cannot poach any assistant coach to replace dimma until AFTER their current club is finished for the season. I don't know if this applies to VFL/SANFL/WAFL options.

Secondly, Striker475 already laid this out on the main, so this is a cut and paste of our options under the new accreditation rule:

As of 2015, the AFL now requires coaches to hold a Level 4 Senior Coach accreditation in order to become a senior AFL coach. All coaches who have been a senior coach prior to 2015 automatically gain level 4 experience.

I'll try and leave the completely ludicrous options (say, Damien Drum) off this list.

Level 4 Accreditation, never held a senior position:
Stuart Dew (Sydney)
John Barker (Carlton)
Simon Goodwin (Melbourne; appointed Melbourne coach from 2017)
Blake Caracella (Geelong)
Robert Harvey (Collingwood)
Adam Kingsley (St Kilda)
Simon Lloyd (Geelong)
Matthew Nicks (Port Adelaide)
Peter Sumich (Fremantle)
Brett Montgomery (Western Bulldogs)
Jade Rawlings (Melbourne)
Justin Longmuir (West Coast)

Previous AFL coaches (still involved in the game as a coach)
Michael Voss
Brett Ratten
Mark Neeld
Brenton Sanderson
Matthew Primus
Mark Harvey
Mark Williams
Guy McKenna
Gary Ayres
Brendan McCartney
Neil Craig

Other options
Paul Roos
Mark Thompson
Mick Malthouse
James Hird
Scott Watters

Based upon this, any talk beyond this list is wasted. Also if we do sack dimma mid season it means we will be stuck with Lade as our senior coach for the balance
