Add hampson and Llloyd, who went missing for large chunks as per usual.
lloyd was great he was tackling running i cant fault his game and i thought Hampson was also good especially in the second half.
It appeared as if grundy was doing well around the ground hammy killed him in the ruck and came good around the ground that was my observation anyway.

We're just delaying the inevitable with DH and that is achieving nothing. He's a ball rubber too close to certain players and that's why he fails to make hard calls. What coach hugs their players for beating a ship 12th side when both teams are out of the finals race ? Guys career is on the line as he's so desperate for his wins. Peg will lower the bar for him and still keep him on, just like she resigned him after he didn't win a final. We're not winning anything under DH. It's 2009 all over where were all excited for winning although we were going nowhere
Welcome back to being a modern day RFC supporter cheering for mediocrity. Poor old Watters McCartney and Sandilands must be wondering what they did wrong to get the arce as they were no worse than the ball cupper at PRO.
Players that are still behind the coach and realize he has had a very rough week? Only you could take any ******* positive and make it seem like a negative. If they didn't go to him at all then there would be worries.

We can Go easy on TI for this, he is from a time where coaches were distAnt and authoritarian so it's understandable he thinks it's the right way :p very much a gen x view.

That being said I would like Dimma to be tougher on the players, however it was good to see the players get around him like they did.

I can imagine this is what a drunken visit to the brothel feels like, instead of finding a nice lady.

You enjoy the win shamelessly, and then wake up upset knowing that it probably just delays what needs to happen for even longer.

Those hugs made your toes curl as well, it was Mark Neeld at Melbourne all over again, as for Rance acting like a fool....no words...

If Alex Rance wants to act like a fool then he has certainly earned the right.

There's still plenty that can be done, acceptance doesn't help the situation. One win and the baying for blood stops, it's a pisswesk acceptance of mediocrity.

That said, Gale was noticably not smiling after the game last night, I'm still optimistic we'll sack Hardwick.

LOL.
The old accepting mediocrity gag.
The most ridiculous notion on this board.
As fans you have no choice because there is SFA you can do to change it.

I feel like punching my screen when I see people say it.

Just because the club isn't doing what the fans want doesn't mean they accept mediocrity. I heard the other day, someone said that we accept mediocrity cos we "treated our finals appearances like hawks treat their threepeat" wtf... No it wasnt good enough, but its still a positive and something at least to be a little bit proud of considering our history over the past 30 years. So acknowledging positives is accepting mediocrity now? lol

You better cause i still got his back. Reality tells us that all the love in the world doesn't win you games as this season has provided us. Don't get on the high horses just yet and see what the new season brings for now lets enjoy the win and hope we don't win another cause our prized first pick won't be so prized.

I know, I am more pointing out that you don't neesecarily need to be authoritarian to be a good coach. tbh I don't care about how much the players love the coach or the coaches coaching style, as long as he can coach and as long as players are held accountable.

Some people might not, but as whole Richmond definitely accept mediocrity, they even admitted to preparing a team to just make finals and not doing a full rebuild.
That's different to a supporter being told they accept mediocrity.
That's just ridiculous.

that was more worried too much about the fans being impatient rather than accepting mediocrity.

What scares me is I really think our playing group would spit the dummy if they had a harsh coach.
It's like they are happy being where they are because it's easy on them and they know no different.
The same group, whom 2 years ago criticised DImma for being too soft?

My fav was one poster who once said my acceptance of mediocrity is what is stuffing up this club

Given I can't even get my wife to obey my every command, I'm ****** if I know how the club psychically picks up and obeys my mediocrity
