Yeah, going to Willy is great if the weather is nice. Who knows with Coburg, they seem to have Richmond's measure, and a couple of players that AFL scouts should be looking at.
Ryan apparently did his shoulder today which means his chances of going too 20 could be doomed. The josh Kennedy type kid I like , Fox went off with hip issues. Goodwin missed with ribs last week and I didn't ask if he played today.
Based on our last month the Tigers will kill Coburg at PRO.
We will be there either way.

By supporting a mediocre team you are accepting it.

And I have stated before, there is nothing wrong with that if you enjoy it.
Yawn mate. It's a disease which has remained permanently entrenched in some. Don't lose sleep arguing over it.

That would be sad news for Luke Ryan. I liked his chances come draft time.

lloyd was great he was tackling running i cant fault his game and i thought Hampson was also good especially in the second half.
It appeared as if grundy was doing well around the ground hammy killed him in the ruck and came good around the ground that was my observation anyway.
Grundy was excellent around the ground and didn't move like a glacier like Hampson. Hit outs are the most overrated stat in the game. If he gets 38 and 30 of them go nowhere it's useless. We need an urgent upgrade on Hammer.

My fav was one poster who once said my acceptance of mediocrity is what is stuffing up this club

Given I can't even get my wife to obey my every command, I'm stuffed if I know how the club psychically picks up and obeys my mediocrity
Sadly it's true, you do accept mediocrity. But that's ok.
But just remember Vickery 'being important to our structure', Hammer 'being ok and competitive' and B. Ellis 'not being our worst' is not what wins premierships - and that's what counts at the end of the day.

Players that are still behind the coach and realize he has had a very rough week? Only you could take any ******* positive and make it seem like a negative. If they didn't go to him at all then there would be worries.
Do you expect the players to say 'Hardwick sucks'?
I tel you why they love Hardwick, because he's made excuses for them for five years.
Fact is we should have won finals, but he is stoic in his defence of their crap efforts. Blah blah blah, he took seven years to describe their effort as shameful in one game. Great work Hardwick.

who gives a **** what I accept or dont?

The issue is how the **** does scratching my arse, worshipping satan, or becoming a young liberal gunna effect my club one iota?

The notion that "my acceptance of mediocrity" effects the club even by 1% is not only ridiculously stupid, it defies the laws of physics, and underlines just how overrated our alleged influence is on the club. Just because we all post shit on a footy forum doesnt effect the club one way or another.

My opinions mean jack to the clubs performance, and shock horror, yours matter just as much

FFS lets gave a does of ******* perspective and common sense

Ok by your simple logic with us supporting Richmond is accepting mediocrity, why are you here?

Or is it because you dont support Richmond?

It unfair to say that without proof. Just because you disagree with him doesn't mean his not a tig

Maybe he likes to come out, to come out, to come out to play. Just for recreations sake, to pass the time away

Just for the record I dont hold you responsible for our lack of premiership success since 1980 and neither does my wife.

If by 'support' you mean buying a membership and clapping and cheering at games then basically no, I haven't really supported them this year.

As for 'fan'? Probably not anymore in terms of being fanatical.

I think 'follower' is the best term these days. Although when I was in grades 4,5,6 and 10 at school I was definitely the former two.

That's sad

After a win do you at least join in the chorus?

Yeah, but it doesn't fill me with the same passion as it used to.

Oddly though, apart from this year I seem to be the most excited in the bad years, I used to think it was because the wins were extremely rare and unexpected.

Problem being you acceptance of mediocrity comes from above as the board accept it too. And coach!

So wait

You get to abuse me for accepting mediocrity, but its imposed upon me

Isn't just easier to just say you hate blokes who disagree with you that come up with this convoluted Jedi mind trick shit?

Supporting your team no matter what isn't accepting mediocrity.. Its being a true supporter.
Supporting is helping them. How are you helping them by by giving them money and clapping along. Sometimes tough love is needed, like a parent shouldn't just give money to their child when they are an adult in the name of 'support' and say well done or another failed job interview. It can do more harm than good.

Not one of your best analogies, that is no where near the same thing.

Also, Supporter and member isn't the same thing, not all supporters are members....

Am I reading this right?
When the team is having a bad year being a member and going to games is bad, 50,000/60,000 at the game and 70,000 members is accepting mediocrity and sending the club backwards. 20,000 or less at the games and 10,000 members is the way forward and will allow us to become a powerhouse.
