Do we really need Ads in posts?

I know all websites are beholden to the advertising dollar but is it really necessary to have ads in posts.

Don't mind the new mobile format but that new addition sucks ass.

I just saw a Toyworld ad within a Bummers2003 post. That shit can't be right.

Bummers spends a couple of hours a day at Toyworld, wearing a tenchcoat and a pair of socks.
