I truly feel sorry for Carlton fans at the moment. Their club is a shambles on-field and evidently a shambles off it, too.
Blues supporters know full well that it will be several more years at least before their team is truly competitive.
I also feel sorry for St Kilda fans in general. Their club is cursed. Just this past weekend their captain suffered a broken leg.
On the day he returned from some kind of freak corkie which required surgery. And his team got belted in fricken Shanghai of all places.
After several players and coaching staff got sick on the plane on the way over there!
And then you have the ball bouncing away from Milne in the 2010 GF, the unlucky spoil which went to Gaz in 2009, it just goes on and on.
Don't get me wrong, I also feel sorry for my fellow North fans. We've been vanilla (mediocre) for almost twenty years. And the Carey thing...
But my question is, do you actually care about the plight of supporters of other teams than your own?
Do you empathise with how Blues fans must be feeling today? Do you think to yourself, 'I hope their club turns the corner soon?'
Or do you enjoy watching them suffer? Or are you entirely ambivalent, with no concern one way or the other?
Over to you, bigfooty
