Do you feel old?

At 29 I wake up everyday and assess my life to try work out if I am where I should be given my age. Like am I doing enough career wise, how much I earn, what do I have, when should I ask the missus to get married, do I want kids... comparing myself to other peoples lives. Really gotta learn to live my own life. Probably stems from being in a job I dont enjoy and still trying to find that perfect career that I can enjoy being in for the rest of my days.

Wish I was 21 again. No pressure about this stuff yet.

The things that make me feel old (currently 21 ) are the songs I grew up with.

It's been 15 years since I first heard the Macarena, 14 since I heard songs from 5ive, 13 years since I'm Blue, Mambo No. 5, Forever by Tina Cousins, 12 years since Ms Jackson and Teenage Dirtbag, 11 years since Drops Of Jupiter and 10 years since Lose Yourself.

BLOODY HELL!

Also, some of the then child stars are either procreating or in their 20's like Aaron Carter, Haley Joel Osment, Billie Piper (29 years of age currently) and Charlotte Church.

So basically, it's pop culture that makes me feel old.

You know you're old when you think pop culture peaked in the 80's.

Well, it either peaked or I developed enough taste to stop listening to it.

It's not even having to think it peaked. You know you're old when the songs you grew up with (born early 70's, so 80's songs) are now played on the 'classic' radio stations / song times.
