Do you have a game plan

Saw this asked in the main thread but did not get a lot of responses so I thought I would try it here.

For me I don't it's pretty much a week to week thing.
This is my 2nd year of SC so last year I had no idea what I was doing & this year even though I am doing better it's still a week by week proposition for me.

I have a long term trading plan, yes. I'll have 17 trades left after this week, lots of trading to come.

I've found that long term plans tend to quickly get blown out of the water by injuries, suspensions, form slumps, unexpected changes in value etc...

Need to take it "one week at a time" and employ flexibility within a broader framework and strategy, rather than having a set pattern of trades.

I've got a plan as to where I wan't to be... however, the plan involves trading down to [player - rookie], and upgrading to [player - bottoming out gun]



Of course, injuries come into it, however, playing week to week, without any thoughts as to your end goal, will dig you a very deep hole...

Fairly simple and unoriginal season game plan for me - try and get good rookies early for trading later in the season.

I do make mini plans, but they rarely go past 2 or 3 weeks. I really can't think that far ahead.

I'm same as you, I do pretty well without totally understanding all the conversations that go in sc.

Terms such as cash cows, break even, when players prices go up & down etc.

I have 17 trades still left & are 2-0 & 1-1 in my leagues.
