haha

My partner was not happy with my swearing during the Geelong vs Freo game, especially during the first half.

My partner walked out of the house at quarter-time of the game, having witnessed me launching vent after vent at the TV and bashing the couch in disgust.

My wife just takes the kids to her parents when it's game on. It's gotten so bad this year that I won't watch the game with mates. I need to focus. Just me and the dog

Watch this video, remember we have Sandilands, Barlow, Fyfe, Hill, McPharlin, Johnson, Pavlich, Mundy, Walters all in top form, and then remember that RTB will not let the players relax and underestimate the swans.

Now you can relax.

Thanks GTD, I got goosebumps watching that again (and a little bit teary). Was at the game and was hoarse after 1/4 time
Like many posters on here, I find myself thinking footy all my waking, and possibly some of my sleeping, hours.

Come on Saturday and COME ON FREO!!!!

We set up a movie in the other room... they're a bit young to understand why their mother is saying those things about an umpire :)

Nervous as here, I'll be fine the following week if we win on Saturday, we'll be on the plane Friday and win or lose it'll be an awesome weekend but we just have to win Saturday.

I feel sick with nerves and excitement. Can't focus. Actually will relax more next week if we're in it because we'll be back to underdog status and back in the comfort zone. Saw on some footy show, I think 360, where they all tipped freo. Wanted to puke.

I've actually gotten more calm as the week has worn on. Probably becoming sensitized to all the Freo hype and expectation. Or maybe it's the valium.

That's what's making me so nervous too. There is a huge expectation that we will win. Adds a lot of pressure and if we lost, I'd expect to hear Eagles supporters telling us all about how we "choked" for quite a while.

I'm suffering severe cognitive dissonance this week. I have the utmost confidence in this playing group yet simple fear of the unknown leaves me feeling pretty conflicted.

I just know that Saturday can't come quick enough, it's uncharted territory and it's exciting and nerve racking at the same time.

I can't sleep, I can't focus, I feel sick. I went and had my nails done in an effort to chill, but the shopping centre and shoppers had gone purple crazy!!!!

Nervous as all hell - rationally we are prepared and no way will players under RTB be allowed to let the moment get the greater of them.

Had a really bad nightmare 2 nights ago - it involved Marghetts and Farmer combining for a 3 to 43 freekick ratio with us losing only from the final freekick awarded against in the goal square for absolutely nothing. When I awoke the dream was clear as day in my mind - though my rational thinking told me our players are too good and will overcome any discrepancy, just like we did with the slight discrepancies in the second half of the first final.
