Formerly wore Aviators, til everyone else did, now I'm into Aquamarine/blue ray bans made from wood.
Bowties are a representation of the patriarchy, so unless worn by a woman to be subversive, they're anti-progressive and you'll never find one on my neck.
Ciggy is juvenile, adults smoke a ciggie. Anything ending with Y as a diminutive is a trick played by advertising executives; I choose to smoke without any influence from them whatsoever.
Dreamcatchers are an appropriation of the ancient and ongoing beliefs of the indigenous peoples of North America, and cultural appropriation is never OK.
Espressos are fine, as long as the beans are fair trade, organic, and sustainably produced within 100kms of Melbourne, and roasted using 100% renewable energy.
Fixie is a must. Note the lack of 'y', because corporate Amerikkka doesn't have any interest in enslaving the people through bicycles. They are a freedom machine.
Graphic Tees are good as long as they don't cememnt the gender binary. Men should be encouraged to wear womyn's shapes and sizes, and not just on the piss on Mad Monday.
Homebrew is a good option if you have no local independent breweries, but it's essential to ensure your ingredients are sourced exclusively from NON-GMO SOURCES!
Irony is so passe
Jorts are the paraphenalia of suburban refugees. I try not to mock them for trying their best.
Kombucha is OK, but not nearly as empowering as buying the waste of homeless womyn, which strengthens their ability to be part of our society.
I handwrite everything I possibly can, is that what they mean by Lettering? Certainly, I never use other people's fonts, when it's so easy to create them myself with a bit of whimsy.
Moustache, like a bowtie, is a sign of the patriarchy, but it's also historically been used by those brave souls who fought against capitalism, like Stalin and Che Guevara. Personal preference, really.
Neutrals are good, as long as they're paired with a splash of your signature colour. Mine is Aquamarine-blue.
Organic is essential, as is locally sourced. While I can forgive you if you need to be vegetarian for dietary reasons, I am a vegan and I strongly recommend you all look into it too. Did you know that the dairy industry is responsible for more violence against females than the NRL?
Polaroids are wonderful, but unfortunately capitalist market forces have pushed the price of film too high to justify when you can just sketch situations on recycled paper yourself. It's less environmentally harmful, and helps develop your inherent creativity.
Quidditch is a tool of evil book publishers who try to railroad children's minds into one view of heroism, when white men sole everything.
Retro is cool.
Scarves are a useful item to guard against winter chill, but make sure they're dyed with NON-TOXIC dye in case you come across and injured possum and need to keep it warm in your scarf.
I'm typing this on a typewriter, obviously.
Upcycling is like, my profession.
Vinyl is a much better quality of sound than CDs, but personally I prefer cassette tapes, which really give a feeling of being connected to the original artist, and when you have listened to the song, can be recycled. You really should never listen to msic more than once to get the full benefit of your listening time.
There is no orgnic Whiskey produced within 150kms of my home, so I've never had it, although it's on the list when I do my sememster abroad in Edinburgh.
The XX are overrated. You should listen to 45 Garters for Annabelle's Rabbit instead, they're a great new band I heard when I was dumpster diving last night behind the Preston Safeway.
Yoga is only appropriate once you've berthed a child.
Zeitgeist is SOOOOO 2014.
