Almost never. Either that or the things I lose are so insignificant that I don't miss them anyway.

I've had things stolen a couple of times, twice I've had jackets stolen from cloakrooms in night clubs which is ****ing annoying when it's 4 degrees outside at 3am.

I did 'lose' my wallet on the bus as a schoolkid but realised before the bus took off and jumped back on to find it.

I've learning to look for things I've put down in unlikely places because I was distracted with something else at the time

e.g car keys on top of the bbq

my magnetic name tag turned up recently in the washing machine after two weeks missing.
sometimes forget where i put my glasses down, and i can't see well enough to look for them without bending down to see the flat surfaces.
phone, under a cushion usually.

Nah, not really - apart from socks. I don’t know what happens to them. I have a bunch of single socks for some reason.
What is it with socks. They go into the washing machine in pairs, come out with only one of the pair. Its like there's some sort of sock wormhole in there.

I lose things quite a bit. Currently missing my reading glasses and can't seem to find them anywhere. Very annoying
You sound like my wife.

She's always running around the house asking where her glasses are.

I tell her I have 20/20 vision and I don't care.

She tells me if my eye sight is so ****en good, find her glasses.

It’s getting beyond a joke now. Been over 2 months without them

Want some incredibly unhelpful shitty advice?

"They're always in the last place you look". I don't know if it's an Irish saying but my mother says that all the time. About as helpful as a toothpick in the eye.

Wouldn’t get a toothpick in the eye if I could find my ****ing glasses lol

I wouldn't say lose but I'm always misplacing my keys. My mum bought me a key hook thing just for this reason a couple of Christmases ago but I cbf using it.

I always lose my sunglasses. Gave up buying expensive pairs years ago, and just go for the cheapies. Think i went through 4 pairs last year, and already on to my 2nd pair this year.

I have been doing the same since 1996 after I bought an expensive pair in Europe while on holidays.

I lost that pair only 2 months later in the damn TAB on Melbourne Cup day when I placed bets for the big race. I realised they were missing when I got back to the car.

Received no compensation from the horses that I backed.
