I had to choose between VicKick and indoor cricket as a youngster, and silly my I went with the latter.

I've never played footy but I have played two seasons of RecFooty with the bulldogs board team.

7 years = 14 seasons

1 premiership (won prelim in overtime, and barely got up in the game)
5 runners up
8 preliminary finals (5 won, 3 lost)
1 wooden spoon

2 x league leading scorer.
5 x league leading rebounder.
1 x Second in MVP voting(behind a team mate)
1 x Fourth in MVP voting
1 x Best and Fairest
2 x Captain

My stats look like Collingwood's.

Played from bout 6-7yrs old through to bout 20, when i finallly decided being 5'2 and 50 odd kg's probably wasnt the ideal body type for aussie rules :) Plus from about the age of 17 was when my love affair with alcohol kicked in, far too many sat mornings with severe hangovers running round in the cold getting belted. They were the good old days when could have a ciggie at half time and no one would bat an eyelid :) played the occasional social game since but gettin a bit past it now at 36.

Aside from school footy, played for Ringwood from 7-13yo, Vermont from 14-18 then half a year with my school's old boys. Shoulder reco last October put an end to the most hyped comeback since Carey.;)

Would absolutely love to play, but due to having to work every second Saturday and having a niggling knee injury, I can't. Although I did play in the Power Vodafone Cup match a few months back at Alberton Oval, managed to get about 4-5 kicks, couple of handballs and a goal (which was nicely assisted by Stuart Dew :D)
