Yeah sure, why not? Guaranteed copy of the game, sealed, often get pre-order bonuses (some decent stuff), costs no more than regular walk up purchase.

Didn't watch the video...anyone summarise?

Yeah i pre-order occasionally. Although after the Colonial Marines debacle, i'll be extremely careful from now on.

Lol i payed $118 at Eb games for the Collectors Edition only to be disappointed with the game. The only reason i got the Collectors Edition in the first place was for the Xeno Morp/Power Loader statue.

You don't have to pre order to get a guaranteed copy (unless you don't get your games from EB and JB). Plus they sell your copy after 24 or 48 hours anyway.

And you can get a sealed copy for a long time after release if you ask.

The only reason I would pre order is pre order bonuses... but then again you usually cant price match if you want to keep the bonuses so you're paying like $10-$20 for it.

Yeah i do, I usually pre-order games i'm super excited about.

The only game's I've pre ordered this generation were/are GTA IV Special Edition and Black Ops 2 Neckbeard Edition.

Previously I only set aside games which were of a specialist niche (Dragon Quest VIII) or GTA San Andreas.

So unless I'm planning on a midnight launch (GTA IV/BO2) I don't pre order.

I'm going to preorder God of War Ascension from OzGameShop this week due to the fact I'm quite happy to wait to play it for $40-$50 cheaper.

Basically just spits a lot of common sense.

Why put down $100 on a game you haven't played/seen enough of. Mostly influenced by the Aliens debacle how it was on the best seller list for steam when the only preorder bonus was an assault rifle or something.

Goes on to attack the review embargo tactics and basically anything that goes on to hide a turkey from the audience.
