FFS get a grip :thumbsdown:I am entitled to have an opinion as others are on here I am not going to start kissing Abbotts ass just to shut you up.
An indictment on our democracy if I ever saw one.

I'm voting informal, I don't really have that much care about this, since I don't like any of the leaders. I like Julia a microbit more than Abbott but not enough to gain my vote, she's a dud leader. Abbott as leader scares me, as long as he tones down the happy clappy Christian rhetoric and doesn't let his mouth rule his mind he may be barely okay.

really couldn't give a crap in terms of who governs the country, but it would be funny if abbott was elected PM.

Bring on a hung parliament. A lesson in humility all around would be nice.
I like the way snrub thinks

Indeed. No matter how uninformed that opinion is.
i have a mate who's voting liberal because he doesn't like gillard's earlobes. this reasoning is about on par with most arguments i've heard to vote either liberal or labor.

Care a lot about this election, and I really hope that Abbott does not become PM. It's not that Gillard has been inspiring at all, but there is just something about Abbott and I think it would be bad for the country if he was PM. He seems backwards in his thinking and what policies have they really offered that are substantial. The 'Action Plan' is a complete load of garbage. How 'stopping the boats' is still a ploy to gain political advantage amazes me. It is such a minor issue in the whole scheme of things and is frustrating that people really care all that much about it that it affects their vote.
And the NBN that the Libs have been spruiking shows no foresight into infrastructure for the future that will withstand the constant change of the internet.

I care greatly for what happens in the Senate. The idea of a mandatory internet filter strikes at the very core of what I believe in, politically, socially and ideologically. That's why I took great care in placing Steve Fielding 60th and Steve Conroy 59th.

I dont really care about the HoR's. I voted for Bill Shorten, despite his death-grip on Maribyrnong, I really agree with his notion of disability reform.

I did the same but in reverse order.

I really hope Abbott doesnt win, and I think the reforms labor are doing with education need another term to see them through.

But saying that, I respect the democratic process of this country, so wont be upset if Abbott does get up. No point bitching and moaning about it.

Isn't it? The two major leaders have shown no leadership, no integrity, no substance, no overall sense of what they want for the country. They're empty, too scared to be divisive, so to not offend anyone, they don't stand for anything. And to top it off, they provide turkey policies one after another! I'm no dry and I'm hardly a fan of Jane but she's got a point, suddenly Joolia has become Mrs Pearls of Toorak. And as for the Mad Monk, bullshit is certainly a word that comes to mind.

I imagine that Paul would extend his same criticism of Johnny to Joolia and Mr Rabbit.

I was wrong. I didn't really think a hung parliament was that strong a possibilty. I thought it would go either one way or the other. So I voted for the 'picked a team but not overly fussed' option.

Had I realised that we'd end up with a hung parliament, I would have picked a different option.
