If you're a uni student or a high school student I'd think you still would, but for those that aren't do you visit your library or are you more likely to purchase/pirate the book you're after from another source?

I use our local library a lot. Sometimes buy books if I like them from op shops and Kmart . And I am not a student :)

Am not allowed to join any libraries in our local network :straining:
*quickly searches pornhub*

but seriously, why not?

I have so many books from primary school library.

It was a public school, and they must not have a system of checking who checks what out, because essentially I just got really lazy in returning them, and now they're all at home LOL

Used to use the high school library to study every lunch time throughout VCE. Also used to use the university library too. Never used a community library for anything.

I also used to use Borders as my own library. Used to go in, grab a book, sit in the comfy chair and read for hours.

Every Saturday. The Rec Centre where my kids go for swimming lessens also has the local library.

Kids swimming, Dads reading.

That's an awesome setup!
You just have to keep an eye on the clock. Been a few times lessons have finished and the kids are thinking " Where the hell is Dad ?".

Ours has a pretty good selection of DVDs and Blu Rays - so we use it fairly regularly. Lots of good docos.

For a long period I didn't, but in recent years I really got back into them. ACT Libraries in particular are awesome, great catalogue and excellent online booking system.

I'm a Uni student and I don't. We have enough resources at our Uni library for assignments and I prefer to buy (or download in the case of the Jane Austen novels I'm reading for Uni at the moment) any books that I'm reading.

Do you like Jane Austen books? I know heaps of people do, but have also read some do not . Just wondering, as you have to read them for uni. Would you read them for pleasure?

Do you visit yours TM?

I should, but haven't for a few years. Used to buy books they were getting rid of at my local library for 50c or $1, was so good.

No I don't as I have no clue where it is :p

I used to love going to the library and borrowing heaps of books at a time while only reading a couple.
