IF Kreuzer/Cripps/Ed/Kennedy/Murphy all manage to stay on the park THEN we should at worst halve the center bounce clearance stats and other set piece ball ups - no easy goals for opposition!
IF SPS/Pickett/Charlie/Cuningham/Fisher improve by 10% THEN we have the run and smarts to get higher quality i50 entries
IF Mckay/Kerr/SOJ all improve by 10% THEN we start to have a tall support structure to Casboult that will create easier scoring ability.
The side now has enough starting 22 talent and even some to spare to be competitive week in week out - hopefully this season sees 4 quarter quality football capability emerge.
The backline intercept/tackling and rebounding capability is there with plenty of experience and depth cover to emerge as a genuine finals quality defensive combo this year.
I'm very optimistic about 2018 - it is all up to Bolton to make sure the young players take the game on and start to use their skill more often - mongrel up !!
Gibbs' ability to control play will be missed - but will present opportunity for more players to take on this responsibility share the load and be less predictable.
GO BLUES
If Lang can play like he did vs Syd in the finals.
If Poulson can break into the first team.
If Kerridge can improve his decision making and cleanliness with the ball.
If picks 3, 10, 30 and DFA’s can make an impact.
Just so many questions, upsides and downsides. But I feel we are better equipped than last season.
