I've seen it too. They all hang out at Ginger (god knows why – Perth clubs are woeful but this place is so average it'll tear hamstrings) and they nurse their drinks and occasionally try yelling out to each other.

Try not to worry about it Fred, we've just joined kids corner. Most young people these days don't grab a brain until their at least 25 and some never do.

Hmm, that sounds like dogmatism to me, which kind of disproves your own statement
Maybe thats true, she might've seen you were a freo supporter as well and was just saying what you wanted to hear. In any case, they've all got more money than they know what to do with at the ages 18-22. A half decent teenager/20 year old would be on 100k+ (Even the rookies are on 60k?). Maybe not a lot in a sporting context but think of that in the real world and thats a huge pay packet! My point is, a lot of them may not know what to do with their money.

I'd go with that. After all, that's what they're (consciously or subconsciously) about in their profession, getting paid to appeal to whoever is in front of them, playing to their desires, giving them what they want ... well to an extent.![]()
Possibly, but like I said, I don't think so. The topic of conversation was actually drugs and then she brought up the footy club stories. We'd pretty well established by then that I wasn't the sort who was going to be upset hearing that the Freo boys liked to dabble a bit.
Either way I'm sure our guys dabble as much as any other club (besides the eagles of course, and maybe Richmond with Dusty driving the average up).
They're allowed to have lives, honestly who cares if you've seen this person drunk in some street or this person out til 5am. Let them have there fun, it's not like we should actually be worried, they're just doing what everyone there age is doing, they'll learn from there mistakes if they make any, let them have fun.I agree, a very tame bunch we have.
Ran into quite a lot of AFL players on my end of season footy trip, usually in the wee hours and let me say that, by comparison (with me), they appeared to be consuming and behaving in a remarkable and responsible fashion.
P.S. Our Moller is a very funny dude...
Fremantle has delisted forward Josh Mellington after the club’s 31 October list lodgement.
Mellington, who was recruited from the Murray Bushrangers in the 2010 NAB AFL National Draft, played six matches in three seasons at Freo.
He made an impact at the start of the 2012 season, kicking four goals from his first three games, but a hamstring injury cut his AFL season short and he has been unable to force his way back into the team.
The 20-year-old has the opportunity to go into the November’s NAB AFL National Draft and be recruited by another club, however, he could potentially be re-drafted by Fremantle.
No cricket bag is safe! lock up your bats and Simmo's daughter.Unless I'm mistaken he did just say it!
To continue the cryptic cricketing conundrum the rumour/allegations about Mellington are more:

I seem to remember Timmy Zoehrer played a few games for East Fremantle. I've got this distant memory of him taking a screamer too, might have even been in a derby but the mind could well be playing a few tricks on that front.
