My issue is that through the carefully crafted mainulation and lies to it's "Bright eyed and bushy tailed" posters, it has managed to epitomise the Freo supporter and I resent being caught up in some ****fight because of things said on there.

I will be the first to admit that it attracts the greater portion of Freo supporters then other Freo site BUT then again it has been designed by some very clever marketing genius'.

Shane Richmond appears (purely from deduction I might add) one hell of a clever business man.....However his allegience to FFC may have taken a few steps back I think.

Answered yourself there. Perhaps the majority of "supporters" enjoy not being bombarded with grizzles even when the team if doing well.

Perhaps we may have to adopt a more heavy handed moderation on this board to make it a more enjoyable place to visit.

Now, as Freo supporters I'm sure we've all been to Dockerland before, and I have to say posting on the forum there is a pain in the neck. The majority of the posts are cut to avoid controversy, and I have to say, its more then slightly annoying when you're emotional and want to voice your opinion, yet the posts is deleted and this just inflames the anger. Shane runs one hell of a dictatorship. Am I just being overly sensitive?

Dont even talk about the rules about DL. Cause there aint any there & if there are post the link . Shane ( aka Jack Van Tongeran ) hasnt even got the intestinal fortitude to put up the rules because he knows that regular punters who aint in his little movement group who actually follow the rules know then what can be posted. Putting rules up means Shane has actually set guidelines of what people can work on. Shane doesnt want that.

Not true, they've never heard of constreuctive critisism, anything even remotely negative about the Dockers is dealt with harshly, the use of Nazis to describe them is very apt.

(i) roughly what does and does not go there
(ii) not to get bent out of shape when my stuff gets deleted
(iii) if you take it all as the tongue-in-cheek site that it is, it is one of the most entertaning places to visit on the 'net.

Way less stressful that way...

If you want to go bashing the club head over to WHTP. They love it over there, but the post count will tell you that its not the most popular view. There's options for you if you dont like DL. I find it an entertaining site.

There is no point coming on here whinging because your point of view is not accepted over there. Express it elsewhere

Exactly, over time you realise what you can and can't say and you just live with it.

Personally it is the first docker site I visit every day, I love the banter and I have to listen to the negative crap from the media so I don't wanna have to read it every day hence not going to whtp.
