Bushie adds colour much like GJ's posts. Personally I am a fan, but I can see how Bushie could rub people the wrong way.
Whether you like it or not, or agree with it or not, we do represent a spectrum of views on this forum.
Both posters attract a bit of heat, but if we didn't have them here it would be a poorer place for heated and animated discussion.
They don't always degenerate into insults and slanging matches.
I don't think either have really crossed the line to be ultimately permanently banned, but that's just what I think.
I do like how Bushie does defend the club with gusto on Bay13. It's not the most easiest of places to defend our club with it's nil success rate of premierships and the surprising ammount of purple hate there seems to be from other clubs fans around on this forum.

Here was I thinking we actually had a good contingent of Freo supporters on bigfooty. Our supporters are just as bad as any and more often than not worse :thumbsdown:
 
At first I had problems with GJ, not so much Belk but I strongly believed GJ was a troll but as time has gone on I honestly believe he has the clubs best interest at heart just thinks a lot differently than the rest.

The crap from don't bowl has been pathetic to say the least, I have always respected him but he has been searching for a fight from Bushie over the last week or so and he has come off looking far worse for it.

Memories, well anyone that loves himself that much doesn't care that everyone else thinks he is a first class tool.

If you go back 12-18 months ago Fremantle had the best supporters on bigfooty, they were able to hold serious discussions without the bickering between members which is surprising considering the shit we have had to put up with.

It may just be me but things seemed to have changed a lot in the last year or so, like all things though you just have to move with the times and except that we have some supporters who are only looking for to bait fellow supporters and get a reaction.

Besides, my couch is a little old. I don't know how it would cope with all the jumping. (That's how these scientology people pray, yes?)

I've been reading here much longer than I joined and noticed in previous pre seasons the discussion here was DEAD. I'm sure the mods could prove it with a post/thread count over time, there is MORE discussion now than ever, even in dead periods. So I'm glad that "the new supporters" here are here, unlike you. Maybe you could go back to the good old days of 2005 when you would come here once per month in the off season rather than everyday... must have been great times... lets reminisce... oh great times yes, the empty thread list except for the Countdown.... great stuff.

What I have a problem with is people who continually attack the people here rather than the content of posts. If GJ/Belnakor/me/whoever has an issue with FFC, discuss the Fing issue rather than jumping on the "you're a troll/idiot/wce supporter" bandwagon. I feel sorry for the admins here sometimes, must feel like they are kindergarten teachers.
 
The only reason there has been more discussion on the board during the off season this year has been due to the fact the Purple Horde board was introduced. The actual discussion on the footy forum has been the same as usual.


Also thank you for looking over my shoulder during the past to know how often I would frequent the site. Without your knowledge I would not know what to do with my life.

What you dont seem to understand is that the content of the post represents that persons opinion. If I or anyone came on here and espoused some of the same crap that has come from the posters you have mentioned we would all be attacked in the same manner.

You seem to think those posters are singled out for derision every time they post. Belnakor for one has actually contributed meaningfully to some threads recently instead of bleating the GJ party line.

The content of the post is the cause for the attack, not the poster.

Opinions aren't people. Either way, GJ and co have been attacked for saying something which could be deemed slightly negative by most people. Like questioning a players commitment == GJ is a WCE supporter or some other rubbish. Calling Headland a frontrunner == GJ is an idiot, etc. I could go on with the list of insults I've seen thrown his way, my way and others way just because of some small statement like that. Instead of discussing all the times Headland wasn't frontrunning to defend their opinion that he isn't a front runner they will instead attack the poster. If you disagree with someones statement STATE that, and then discuss why.
