Im hearing alot of "if we finish down the bottom of the ladder for a few more years we can have a shot at the premiership in 2011" Why dosnt anyone think we can win it next year. our list is alot better than what we saw this year and with a bit of luck anything is posible
West Tigers odds $81
Carltons odds $81
Its gonna happen :thumbsu:
The reason everybody thinks that the Blues will finish in the bottom is becasue they DO have an average list. A very average list. Name one champion in their team that cna still perform. I rate Waite highly but other than him who else?

as if any blues supporter, well a true blues supporter would want it's team to finish last just so that it could get picks ect thats sad....any True Blue would be wanting it's team to go good evri year like me....and i agree our list is coming together !

UP THE BLUES 2006!!

i cant, i want a premiership NOW!!!
For the sake of the AFL - the Carlton brand shouldn't be tarnished anymore. I think it is time for the players to get a bit angry, carry a bit of venom into the games, have an enforcer, think of big nick before they run out each time, and play with pride. If they do all of this - the victories will come.
Anything can happen from there.

I am angry - and i want vengenance!! a premiership is the only way to solve our dilemma.

Our list is a hell of a lot better than it was 'this year' and it's still pre-draft 2005?  How can this be - is it because we have recruited that superstar Sadington to take control of our backline?

Admit it folks, we have got miles to clime yet - we did not have a very good trade period in a situation were we really needed one desperately. Coming together at a slower than needed pace maybe but we are still miles behind.

I think it was over a hundred years ago and there were only four sides. Fitzroy finished fourth (last) and therefore last. Yet all four sides played in the finals and fitzroy won all the finals and premiership. Either that or they played 2 seasons due to their being only four sides.
1916 - Only four teams remained because of WWI.

Home and away ladder was:

Carlton 10 2 137.2 40
Collingwood 6 5 1 100.0 26
Richmond 5 7 89.9 20
Fitzroy 2 9 1 81.6 10

Each team played each other 4 times during the H&A series and the games were all fairly even so maybe Fitzroy's position belied their actual ability.

In fact Fitzroy played Carlton 6 times during the whole season and split the results 3-3. Fitzroy beat Carlton in the grand final 85-56 after Carlton had exercised their right of challenge after losing the final the previous week 65-42.

Our only other loss was against Collingwood by a point.
