Does the loss of the Mod Squad also mean the loss of BB2?

Bombers would only make the effort to chase more players to even up the number of teams and avoid the bye.

We won't be considering a second team if it would actually create an odd number of teams.
We would only do it for the good of the comp. Never really understood why some people were against us considering it to be honest.

It posed a lot of problems unless it was going to be two seperate entities. I personally believe the bombers are better staying on as a powerhouse rather than creating a second team, but i'm not there so my input is irrelevant.

I think Boncer actually made some sense when he made the arguments when he said he hated the idea. Things such as players freely moving from bombers team to bombers team, and then kicking inactives out of one of the teams if they make finals and replacing them with actives from the other team. Unless they were completely seperate bombers teams it could have been an issue. But as I have said, I think you are better off being a powerhouse.

That was NEVER going to happen. The free movement between which Boncer rejected was in regards to having a Baghdad Reserves take on a Rest of SFA reserves each week or if the league was a 2 tier system. It was clearly stated that if the Bombers had 2 teams in the main competition the movement between teams would have the same restrictions as between any other teams (only trades in the trade window).

We made it clear that the only way there would be movement between the 2 teams would be if the 2nd team was in a possible reserves competition. In that case it would be players being promoted/demoted like a normal club.
Otherwise they would have been 2 completely different teams. Baghdad and Basra.

Yes as I was saying, having two seperate entities wouldn't pose problems if that is the way you wanted to go. But with the even comp when the Roys get admitted I think this season is going to be a good one :thumbsu:

Nothing the Bombers suggested was unfair in regards to movement but taken out of proportion by Boncer. The only thing which may have been controversial was moving players from our Division 2 team to our Division 1 team which doesn't seem ridiculous to me and the 2 divisions was never going to happen anyway. Boncer was just in a bad mood.

Be honest, it was a ripper article.
Oh I agree completely, it did everything he hoped it would and more. It just shits me that everyone believes him even though Boncer and Tarks were trying to recruit me to the hawks for months haha!
Bagging you seems to put a lot of people in a good mood okey ;)
I'm glad I can be of assistance. All for the greater good :D:p
