The Western Bulldogs have had the wood over the Crows during the home and away season in the past several years.
After a sloppy 46 point lose to the roos on Friday night, the Doggies will be desperate for a win. I wouldn't give the crows much a chance if its played in wet conditions, but dry, windy or wet the dogs will give it everything. The Crows are coming off 4 sensational victories in a row and will be trying to make it 5, to stay in contention with the final 4.
The Bulldogs must win atleast 1 out of the next 2 games, which shouldnt be that difficult, especially if the two games are played in wet conditions. It will be very hard to beat the Cats in dry conditions as they will be too tall for us, and the Cats have the edge over us.
I reckon if we could win 1 out of the next 2 games and put us 6-6 with a % above 100 that will set us up for Carlton and Essendon the next 2 weeks.
But if we lose 2 outta the 2 games, well be in trouble and will have to beat either Carlton or Essendon to get back on track, because I think round 15 and 16, could just about go down as an automatic 8 points.
I reckon if we're good enough we will finish on 12-10, but If we play like we did on Friday night that wont happen!
Carn Dogs!

So much for taking it one match at a time eh X box?? :)

Yeah, Saturday night's game will be a beauty I reckon, two teams desperate to bounce back to the form they displayed only just over a week ago. We certainly won't be taking the Doggies lightly, their record at Footy Park is excellent, and apart from last Friday you've been playing very well.

Not sure what you meant X box, but wet weather conditions definitely won't affect us, we beat the Blues in atrocious weather earlier and generally play well in the wet. Our team also likes dry conditions too (obviously). The Doggies won't be fazed either way as well.

I expect the Bulldogs to come out and play really good footy, they usually rebound well from a loss. I'd like to think the Crows will be ready for you, no chance of resting on our laurels, considering our poor performance today. Should be a close encounter. :)

ant.
Bulldogs and Kangaroos are the two best wet weather sides going around.
I do remember the round 4 game between Carlton and Adelaide, which was played in wet weather, but that says something about Carlton, they aren't a good wet weather side.
Geelong and Carlton can't play wet weather that well.

I am looking forward to saturday night.
But Im scared that M. Robbrin will play another good game, as he always does against the doggies!
that guy only plays 1 or 2 good games a year, thats against the doggies! But Mcleoud and smart are too dominate and will kill us outta the centre, but the doggies backline has to rebound the ball well if we have any slight chance.

But I reckon our backline will play good, all our players get fired up when they play the crows because of what happened in the 97, 98 seasons.

may the best team win, carn dogs!

Actually, I think you may be a bit surprised here, Crows are the best wet weather team going around. Check it out.

Crows have had some of their best gutsy wins in the wet. They are very very good at it.

Crows.Ok.
I just proved ya wrong, Bulldogs are unbeatable in the wet. The last time I remember the Bulldogs losing a wet weather game was a 1993 practise match.
CAN ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER A TIME THE BULLDOGS LOST A WET WEATHER GAME AFTER 1993???

It wasn't so much as you proving anything, rather than the Crows putting in a poor one.

The Crows haven't done that badly in the wet since - I can't remember. Normally they are very good indeed. Oh well.

BTW, as I said on the Crows board, had it been Grant rather than Burton out of the game in the first five minutes - different result in all probability. Hell, even with Burton out & Grant doing extremely well for your lot, the whole game basically boiled down to just one quarter anyway. Grant put in a purple patch in the second Q and that was basically the difference in the game.

So much for "proof".

Crows will get you next time.

Adelaide:

Out-coached

Out-gunned

Out-classed

Unaccountable

Inept

Sloppy

Weak

Soft

Bulldogs:

Class

Determination

Hardness

Accountability

Hungrier

Too Skillful

Chris Grant.

Smarter

Better

.....SIMPLY TOO GOOD

Crows OK, we are the winners, you are the losers. 'Til next time. :)
