Would be good to let Young settle as a KPD instead of pointlessly having him take forward 50 ruck contests while English and Bruce are on the field.

He was excellent last week, why change up his role?

Agree a run of games in the one role, let him just play in the same way as Gardener is wholly and solely a KPD
That is the area we need him to develop in, can muck around with the part time ruck after he has mastered the primary role.

Our pressure guage dropped below 100 in the 3rd qtr. That is a massive red flag and should be the main highlight of our review. GC were at over 200.

Any backline will struggle if the oppo runs free through the middle which was happening. We didn't switch on till the last which was disappointing but something for the coaches to work on

I thought it was really interesting to see Youngy go into the ruck so we could keep Tim down forward alongside Bruce and Naughty, obviously to continue to cash in on our dominance. Such a huge turnaround in thought process by Bevo this year in his valuation of having talls forward, compared to years of sometimes going in with one key forward who had to chop out in the ruck half the game. I wonder if this is a shift in his thinking or if it’s more to do with the fact we now have quality talls? Probably a bit of both to be honest

Definitely. I think we’ve adapted well and it’s clear to see which teams/coaches haven’t.
