There was no way nearly 24,000 attendance, felt like about 15,000. No queue at food stall half time and little traffic walking to and from station. Disappointed the dog's fans that could turn up elect not to. We are playing such an exciting brand of footy.

That's what happens when they schedule the game for TV ratings. There's only one set of fans to attend that game, and on a freezing cold Thursday night with work/school looming the next day it's not particularly appealing.

You sound more and more like a private school old boy with every post you make.

As a private school old boy, please don't associate him with us.

Thursday nights suck in school terms and with half the state down with Covid..I’m mean flu…or is it really covid disguised as flu or vice versa….anyhoo…Thursday night footy sucks

It did feel like at least 20K. The whole level 3 was open unlike some Saints & North games.

Having about 200 Giants supporters there doesn’t help (and that might be generous).

I can't take credit for spotting this:

CBA of Rhylee, Riley, Ryley and Rory

View attachment 2384199

I called it at the time to the poor people sitting around me who were subjected to my comments
We went with Rhylee, Riley and Ryley for a few centre bounces against the Swans at Marvel last year too.

I thought the Lions were cooked….also thought that the Pies won’t win it this year, too old.

Do I still think if we make it we can win. Absolutely

We should have beaten both these sides and Brissie twice if not for the unfortunate injury to Harmes at the start of gather round meaning we had Dolan and Haynes both on the park for practically the whole game in the heat. Maybe that’s poor sub selection but I’m confident we can beat both of them.

I think it was DW who said these results will make all the top 8 try because top 4 is still open for a lot of them

I agree i hope i'm wrong but the only thing that's going to stop us from making the 8 is those two losses Brissie and Adeliade and if you have a good look at the ladder our percentage it's better then the rest

Happy to have the big win, was feeling a bit uneasy earlier this evening..

Have your say on the game.
TBH i was suprise ok they did have 3 out's but what really hit me was the way they played and it was bevo's 250 so if and the big word is if we can repeat the same display we can do it again that's with out getting carried away but overal good win

I feel confident in guessing that is the tallest collective group of coaches votes ever given.
Midget-Marcus must have been damn good to have been included...

That would be an AFL record and never to be beaten !
My understanding is that Lobb, Darcy and English are easily the tallest trio to have played together in the same side at 207cm, 208cm and 208cm respectively. If we were to talk about duos, each combination would be in the top 5 - let alone 3 together at once, let alone all of them getting coach's votes in the same game (alongside 2 other guys >6'4)..

1. Jarrod Witts (209cm) + Mason Cox (211cm)
2. Rory Lobb (207cm) + Aaron Sandilands (211cm)
3. Robbie Warnock (206cm) + Aaron Sandilands (211cm)
4. Tim English (208cm) + Sam Darcy (208cm)
=5. Tim English (208cm) + Rory Lobb (207cm)
=5. Sam Darcy (208cm) + Rory Lobb (207cm)
=5. Mason Cox (211cm) + Darcy Cameron (204cm)
=5. Jarrod Witts (209cm) + Ned Moyle (206cm)
