Gee I wish we could all meet in a pub somewhere one day and do a live version of a Bigfooty thread....it would be nothing if not entertaining.

We would charge a fee for entry for all patrons other than Bigfooty personnel.

Would be Theatre at its finest raw, passionate, plenty of characters and non scripted.

I hadn't fully appreciated how insipid Hamish McLaughlin's call was. He really should only do the half time interviews with the kiddies or donate his pay packet to a charity.
Please no more Hamish McLaughlin half time kid interviews. Someone needs to inspect the man’s Working With Children Check. 🤦

It was a good goal. Goes some way towards the negative impact he had on most of the rest of the game.

I was there as well as watched the replay. He was a non-entity.

And you need to learn the multi-quote function.

Seriously in the next post I called myself an idiot. I'm not being patronizing I'm taking the piss.
Fair enough it was a bit OTT my comment I know your heart is in the right place place even though we come from different direction.

Go Dogs!

My six-year-old son never ceases to amaze me. This is the first year he has shown a real interest in the footy. I'll wake up to him watching YouTube videos of each team's club song, or navigating the AFL App looking at match highlights and analysing the ladder.

This morning he said:

"Dad, you know what doesn't make sense? Melbourne are on top of the ladder and Hawthorn are second last but how come Hawthorn beat the Bulldogs in a pretend match and the Bulldogs beat Melbourne in a pretend match?"

NB: He refers to practice (pre-season) matches as a "pretend match". :D

So insightful. I might apply for him to replace Garry Lyon as an expert specialist commentator.
A future BF poster in the making!

I honestly don’t think they got it. Very slow on the uptake, most of these so-called journalists, probs don’t know Jordon Sweet, and weren’t listening just getting ready to butt in with the next mundane question.
The were South Australians so they were all laughing about 3 hours later
