Still blows my mind how Lobb has gone from pariah and delist/trade certainty to cult fan favourite in such a short time. Trying to think of the last player who followed this arc.

From memory, part of the problem with Cooney's fracture was a loss of cartilage or an existing lack of cartilage, which lead to a lot of bone on bone rubbing and pain, which had to be managed for the remainder of his career. Fingers crossed it's a fairly clean fracture, with not too many complications outside of it.

Regardless, of the cartilage issue RE: Cooney, medical science has advanced a heap in the last 15 years, and I'm sure the expected outcomes for such injuries have also improved.

Luckily, these days you can get synthetic cartilage put into your joints, and it helps a lot with the bone on bone rubbing. There's not a concrete amount of time it lasts, but it's better than nothing.

Got home last night and couldn't bring myself to post, absolutely shattered for Darcy and the club. Still shattered today it feels like a 10 goal loss

20 centre clearances to 6, 69 inside 50s to 31. That is as bad a midfield smashing as I have seen in a long time, and saints mids have matched if not beaten some gun midfields in giants, cats and port in these stats. Absolute credit to our midfield on a sensational performance.

Oliver G are there stats on how many times teams hot the post, I'd be amazed if we are not in the top 3, was it 6 last night?
