• Bont hasnt missed a stride yet feels almost criminal to have taken the captaincy off Libba (what a rundown on Hill)
• Sanders keeps building, wow.
• Freijah again showing how good he will be with some passages. Bont like ball control.
• Naughton is back, regardless of the misses.
• West is one of our most important and smartest players
• Kennedy and Davidson again very good
• Don't underestimate this win, Saints formline has been very good since mid last season.

Most of all, shattered we're robbed of a season of Darcy. Injuries are a part of football but geez they suck in circumstances like this.

Horrible about Darce, but that was a fantastic performance.

Highlight for mine was Sanders breakout

32 possessions, 90% efficiency and a lazy 13 score involvements.

Will never forget the Saints game where Clay went down at half time whilst we held a 50 odd point lead and then bottled it. Proud they not only won tonight but came from behind after the Darcy injured happened.

Fantastic performance. Was very important to win and even the ledger after a disappointing second half against the Lions last week. Would be nice to be 4-2 but 3-3 is respectable.

Bont just walked back to a BOG performance, Libba was at his best, Sanders continues to grow and Kennedy continues to prove a very astute pickup. Really an excellent all round team performance.

Obviously the main story is the Darcy injury which is absolutely gutting. Bevo is going to have to reach into his bag of tricks to find a way to cover for him

This year is the worst year for injuries that I can recall - worse than 16, although hopefully this year has the same ending as 16.

But very good performance. Great to have Bonti back. Expected more from St Kilda. They were putrid.

It obviously sucks what happened to Darcy but it speaks volumes to his character that he didnt spend his time sulking (he'd have every right) in the rooms and was out there encouraging his teammates on and participating in all post game activities.
