Tommorow (Monday) there will be a press conference to announce the Bulldogs coaching position.

This will leave us the only club without a coach.. for 03 and it will put us (as a club) somewhat behind in plans for close future happenings (trading period,draft- we also need to delist etc) as the coach has alot to say in these happenings..
I also heard that the Roos spoke to Laidley last thursday, and he would be spoken to again today or tommorow (monday) this would be the last 'interview' with anyone competing for the Roos coaching job.. I would think

After the last 'interview' with Laidley (which may have been today or it might be tommorow) Allen Aylett, Geoff Walsh and Tim Harrington (The Coaching Sub Comitee) must sit down and decide on the candidate for the coaching position they think is best..

I hope they have long hard talks and thoughts about this decision.. because although I would like to find out, I dont want them to in any way rush the decision and make the wrong one (decision that is)

Now everyone knows that the trading period is going to be BIG for us.. with the Carey trade, their will be alot of media speculation and things, for that reason I think we need a new coach ASAP.. but I also think that the new coach must not be a rushed decision because of this factor.

Go Roos
