Cats are for people who don't actually want pet. Looking after a cat is no different to watering a plant or owning a pet rock tbqh.

My neighbour decided to "own" a cat recently. The little fu*ker spends about 90% of its so called life in our backyard killing shit. 6am - stupid collar bell rings, leaves rustle, sounds of dying bird; 5pm - little fu*ker is still in the yard, dead lizard in driveway, smug look on cats face; 10pm - stupid bell still ringing, sounds of possums wigging out and dying. FMD piss off. Try to pat the thing and it won't have a bar of it. Yeah awesome pet you guyz .

Cat owners are just as annoying as the feline itself. And I'm not talking about your basic run of the mill cat owner who actually looks after their cat and keeps it inside. Obviously they're idiots. I'm talking about owners like said neighbour who think it's the neighbourhoods responsibility to look after their pets. We got an anonymous letter in the letterbox asking people in our street to drive slowly because two of anonymous cat owners cats have been hit by cars. Also tried to pull a guilt trip by mentioning they were their children's "beloved pets". Ha! identify yourself anonymous cat person, and I'll give you your solution; keep the damn feline inside!

Grew up as a dog person but am now a cat person.

Dogs are too needy and need too much attention/work.

Cats just do their own thing.

If i had a family and a big house Id have both, but single and city life means cat wins.

Dogs by the length of the straight.............you can take them for a walk or down the beach and they are fun to play with. Cats....close to useless and feral cats destroy native wildlife. They make good hats tho.

Again, I'm a big fan of dogs but some of the criticisms directed at cats apply every bit as much to dogs.
